One of the standout features is the RFID functionality. Programming and managing access for family members, friends, and trusted individuals is effortless. Additionally, the option to use traditional keys provides a sense of familiarity and serves as a reliable backup. Its compatibility with virtual assistants such as Alexa and Google Assistant adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing for voice-controlled locking and unlocking. Very happy with this smart lock!

Deadbolt upgrade

The nickel exterior blends perfectly with most entry hardware, and the digital numbers are hidden (not lit up) until activated, which saves on battery power. The installation was relatively easy, just needed a little extra tightening at first but is now snug. Love the remote arming/disarming capabilities!!!

Great sleek security

Very advanced, lots of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart lock is quite interesting and makes me feel like I’m living in the future. It wasn’t too bad to install but as far operating the thing, there are A LOT of instructions. They all made sense, there’s just a lot of information. There are different modes and different ways to unlock it. Setup does require you to install an app but was alright. My one complaint is we haven’t been able to figure out how to have two “admins” on the lock yet. It comes with the lock, a door sensor, 2 RFID tags, and 2 regular keys. You’re not required to use rfid tags though. You can create temporary numeric combos which will be awesome for family and sitters. It does have a lithium battery so eventually it will need to be recharged.

Easy! Love this lock!

It’s so easy to use and I love that there’s an app and so many customizable settings. Definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for keyless entry.

Beautiful lock but hard to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alfred Smart Lock looks great and the satin nickel finish really shines. Unfortunately it’s difficult to install. I’ve replaced all the locks in my house and the process is usually pretty straightforward. However the Alfred deadbolt mechanism is a bit longer than the Schlage deadbolt I was replacing, and I had to chisel out some of the door to make it fit. In addition the tolerances of the bolts that connect the two halves of the deadbolt are really tight, so if the deadbolt isn’t perfectly level you won’t be able to get the lock to sit properly on the door. I was installing on an older door, so it might be better if you have a new door.
