A great looking smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart lock is very sleek. It will make any door look much higher end. The installation process looks complicated. Lots of parts and pieces, but our ring doorbell was the same way so I expected it. I love that you can set different pin access codes for various people that may be entering the home. This would be perfect for anyone that owns an air bnb!

Great For Rental Property

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Alfred Smart Lock DB2S from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I must admit the installation process was way over my head & very overwhelming! I myself could never do the install alone & had to pay someone to do it. The lock itself is a beautiful satin nickel color & very sleek & modern looking . This lock is perfect for a very busy home or a rental home as you can create unlimited digital blue- tooth keys that can be delegated with ease- no more lock changes between renters which is a tremendous money & time saver for the owner . The battery is a rechargeable lithium battery so no more frequent alkaline battery changes with this newer series. The touch screen is illuminated & uses Bluetooth connectivity with the Alfred Home App for use with IOS or Android devices to control & monitor your smart locks & user settings all from your mobile device. You can even lock & unlock the door with your mobile device also. There is an auto- relooking with an adjustable timer feature which is very helpful also. I do worry about the possibility of hacking or a breach of privacy with this device. I also know that battery does not last a life time so what happens when it dies- the locks must be replaced. What if the battery dies & you are not staying / living at that home for example it's a vacation home & you home is left unlocked till you can get there & replace the system. It's worth a try at least once I'm guessing as the concept is great .

Smart bolt deadlock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in exchange for an honest review from influenster. I had this installed a few days ago and so far so good. The overall design is sleek, clean and modern and looks very high end. I was unable to install myself and had to rely on my husband, but am also not the handiest person. Compared the the smart lock we have on our front door this one feels like a lot better quality and is very smooth with the deadbolt opening and closing. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend.

Traditional to smart intergration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am your reasonably traditional person I believe in old school dead bolts that I know no one can trick to unlock and break into my home so when I seen a smart deadbolt to say I was Leary is an understatement!! I had my nephew set it up on my second back door which didn't have any type of deadbolt on it yet. This smart lock is unbelievably strong and protection is its number one priority. I have tried to beat it I have tried different codes like I didn't know how to open it and it would not open at all! I have children in the house so safety is my number one priority. This Alfred's smart lock has left me feeling safe and secure in my decision to add this to my homes security features. I would definitely recommend. They are a tad bit pricey but your family's safety doesn't have a price tag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] forget about carrying the keys. With this product it's over, not to mention the times you forget it at home and you have to call the locksmith or wait for another family member to arrive and let you into your house. very excellent product

Wifi needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The awesome thing about this lock is it is very heavy duty, and has 2 sets of keys. I often wondered how if the electric went out would you get in the door, well there ya have it 2 keys. Also very easy to install. Works great and looks great.
