Heavy duty and greatest yet

I would not know how to install it without using the online instructions so it’s great that it comes with a QR code to scan for step-by-step installation instructions. It is hefty and feels
secure, and would be a great investment for any home.

Great lock, good app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock was easy to install. I didn’t include the door sensor at the moment so I cannot rate that. I do plan on getting the Z-wave module so that I can integrate the lock into my home security system. The feel and design of the lock is appealing and it’s hefty with gives me the impression of it being well built.
Setup of the lock through the built in menu was easy to program in codes and sync the RFID tags.
I had issues getting the phone app to work with the lock, the Bluetooth would continually fail. There was an update to the app and it paired after that (I had to hold the phone so it was touching the lock).
After the app was paired it’s fairly easy to use, the organization of how you determine codes was a little backwards to what I would like to see in an app.

So many features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to use this lock on our guesthouse because we already have a smart lock from a different company on our front door. I wish I could switch this one to our front door, but the other is compatible with our security system. This one is so much better than our other lock. I like the design of it, the sleek keypad, and that it also has voice prompts. Plus, it can store up to 250 codes. I will say I left it up to my husband to install, and he had to look up a video for assistance even though there were installation instructions. Probably, user error.

Easy installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Alfred DB2S Smart Lock in 30 minutes. The recommended app (BILT) to access the installation video was a wonderful tool to help make it as simple as possible. There was an update on the Alfred app for the lock, so make sure you check for the update. Programming it was simple, and it's great that you can assign all family members their own pin number. The keypad lights up brightly, so it's easy even in the dark to see what you're doing. Overall, the look of it is astetically pleasing. The satin nickle is a nice finish. Overall, the quality is great and is user-friendly.

Basic door knob installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing the door knob was fairly simple after I understood the directions and got everything laid out. The only tools you need is a simple screwdriver like it says in the instructions. It’s pretty basic just like installing a normal door knob, the instructions on setting up the passcode number, the master code, and the pin numbers It was a little confusing for people that that would not be good with electronics, but for people that are used to electronics it was fairly simple task. It took me about an hour because I’m not the best at technology, but I’m not the worst either

Decent lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is fairly decent, but there are some things people who purchase need to know.
1. No WiFi, you have to purchase separately.
2. If your lock is exposed to the elements, get some waterproof silicone caulk to put around so water doesn’t get in.
3. It is a 2 person job and can be troublesome. Not as easy as say, the Yale locks.
4. Some screws don’t align perfectly to the plates, so you may need to fidgit with it a bit.

It does look good and does what it’s supposed to. Includes everything (except WiFi) you need.
