[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had it installed the other day. It’ll take some getting used to the smart lock after only having regular ones. But I like that it also has a key, just in case. The design looks nice and sleek. To use the app with the lock you need to use Bluetooth and to connect it to WiFi. In total this lock offers 4 ways to open, I think I’ll be using the pin method most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been looking at different smart locks and had looked at Alfred so we were very excited to have been selected to try one of these smart locks. My husband installed it and said it was pretty straightforward to get on the door. It’s got an app that lets us add codes as needed for people easily. We added a code for our dog walker and after trying it for the first time she was so impressed with how easy it was. She told me she took her smart lock off her door because it was such a headache but ours was so easy and she was going to g to look into Alfred. She said a lot of her clients use smart locks but ours was the most straightforward new one she had worked with. So far we are very very

Sleek and solid, add-ons a must

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently given the opportunity to check out the Alfred DB2S Smart Lock. I already had a smart lock system installed on my house, but wasn't real happy with the appearance. So when given the chance to swap to the sleek look of the DB2S, I jumped at the chance.
Installation was incredibly simple and allowed for a few alternate configurations. The instructions were mostly clear and only took a few double checks to ensure I was grabbing the correct screws. What immediately struck me about the Alfred DB2S was its versatility in unlocking options. It came with 2 standard keys and 2 RFID key-tags in addition to the ability to add way more PIN numbers than I'll ever need. The lock rolls very smoothly and the audible alert acts as a double check to let you know the door is locked.
Programming the DB2S was very simple and was up and running in a matter of minutes. The one drawback to this system is the lack of inclusion of a wireless access system. I ended up ordering a Z-Wave module to be able to implement the lock into my home security system. The module, at the time of this writing, is only available directly from the company. The module wasn't expensive, but I felt it should have come standard with a smart lock in this range.
The Alfred DB2S Smart Lock is definitely a solid lock with a very sleek design and a multitude of options for security. It seamlessly combines style, convenience, and security, making it an essential addition to any modern home. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or simply someone looking to enhance home security, this smart lock is definitely worth considering. Just be aware that you may need to order the optional modules to fully integrate into your existing home system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when I saw that they were offering these for review!! My parents have a similar one and they love it. Plus, I have kiddos that aren’t the most reliable with keys. I put it on our back door and I love it!! It comes with two scan keys with option to purchase and add more. Personally programmable access codes, you can invite individual family members through the app. They can create their own code or use the universal code. You can also add fake numbers to the beginning of your code to keep others from learning it, which I love with having kids who have friends. It connects to wifi and you can unlock from a distance as well. There’s also the option for an actual physical key you can use as well as the scan keys. Just so many options, I’m still working out all the logistics of the app, which seems to be the most difficult part honestly. I haven’t noticed any glitches with the app so far. The only thing I noticed is that there is both a manual knob and button on the back to unlock from the inside. Sometimes, the automated button on the back doesn’t work to unlock when the device goes into sleep mode to reserve battery life. It’s not a big issue for us though, we just use the manual knob instead. Battery life seems to be lasting nicely. We’ve had it installed for a week and haven’t had to charge it yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lock!! It has so many different ways to open/close this lock. You can add up to 250 different PIN codes, it has a traditional key in case the battery dies, it comes with 2 RFID keys, think key cards, you also have the option to buying more and assign them to anyone you want. You can also use the app to open/close the lock. The battery is a rechargeable Li-ion battery, so no more AAA every few months. The installation was so easy and I love the attention to detail. They used a marker to see where the connection would go, it’s a little thing, but that shows care in there product and care for the customer. There’s so much I can say about this lock that won’t be able to here. I highly recommend this lock and would purchase for my other door.
