Love this lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These locks are so convenient! I set it up on my garage door and it lets me put in the code so I don’t have to try to find the keys in my purse. It’s also great when we go outdoors for yardwork and don’t carry our keys. We also can give the family our code when we go out of town and they can get in to check the house, pets or mail. I think I will get these for all our doors!

The only thing I wish I could do is make the key match my other house keys. But if that is the least of my worries it’s not so bad.

Pros and cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Alfred Smart Lock system is a neat upgrade to our “old school” home locking system. There’s a few things, so far, that I like and don’t like about it. Mind you we’ve only had it for a couple of days so the cons MIGHT work themselves out. Only time will tell. I’ll start with the negative first. CONS: Installation of this product was kind of overwhelming. There’s a lot of little parts and pieces. It ended up NOT being as overwhelming as I originally felt when I laid everything out. However, for some reason it was still kind of a pain in my butt. Next con was after getting it installed on the door and setting up the “Master Pin”. There’s options to set up little key fobs and also to have a timed lock so you don’t always have to question yourself if you locked the door or not. THOSE options in and of themselves are PROS. But the fact that we have STILL not been able to officially set them up is a con. It’s not for lack of trying either. We have tried countless times to set it up on/via the app and it just will not load. Once we “wake up” the smart lock and hit ok… it just gives us the loading symbol. It never goes to the next step. We’ve tried it with and without our phones connected to our WiFi and still nothing. To me… this is pretty frustrating and a pretty BIG con because they are both features I REALLY want to use. The pros are that it’s nice to be able to punch in a pin instead of messing with a key. Another pro is that that app lets us add our household members and set up certain things for each user. Once it gets the cons sorted out I think this thing would be perfect.

I had one from before that I would have to use my finger print but this one I can put in the code or use my phone which is more convenient when I have a lot of stuff in my hand. Very easy to assemble and easy to use. I would buy this if I didn’t get it here! Definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Alfred DB2S Smart lock in the color satin nickel and it was very easy to install into my originally lock hole. I did it my self and it works perfectly. There are a video instructions to use also. The lock itself works great by hand and by the app. The code is easy to make and everything was easy to set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Alfred DB2S and I'm so glad to have it. It is of high quality, easy to install, and has attachments such as a card and a key. The weight of the lock - this is a solid item and feels extremely durable! It is easy to set individual codes for your family, The touch screen is bright and clear, I love it! Mobile app to configure and set the lock is much easier than trying to use the lock itself. It is a nice feature and moreover. I recommend this product as a protective lock when you are outside!
