Great replacement microwave

We purchased a GE Profile microwave to replace a broken GE Monogram microwave. The size of the new product matched the old one so it was an easy install. The new microwave looks and works the same as the old one. It is perfect for us!

Nice microwave

I love this microwave. Mercifully it's exactly the same size as the GE Profile one it replaced; it fits into the space where the old one was built into my cabinets. The new locking feature is smart, but I don't need it. The instructions made it easy to disable. My only issue iwith this product is that the buttons are a bit hard to read (and of course are in a different configuration from the old one).
I would recommend this to a friend!

The microwave fits perfectly in the space we have and is very quiet when in use. The only down side we have it that it's only 800 watts and it does not come with mounting hardware. For the price we would have expected it to be at least 1,000 watt unit and come with mounting hardware. However, the mounting hardware that is recommended with the unit does not match with the existing holes on the microwave. I ended up making my own. Overall, the unit is very nice and does what it is supposed to do.

This GE Profile Microwave was purchased to replace our prior GE Profile which performed well for 20 years. The capacity is perfect for our needs and the updated design of this microwave fits our kitchen and perfectly.

Third one I’m buying

This is the third one of these that I have purchased. The last one was manufactured in May 2021 and I purchased it later on that summer of 2021. And it became unusable this week. Not even four years! I sure hope this one which is the same model last longer! When you spend this much on a microwave oven, you expect it to last more than four years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While we know the significance of an appliance operating for a long period of time, it is not possible to determine the product failure rate or life expectancy. There are multiple variables involved such as frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance, care, and maintenance. This microwave is SO quiet compared to my old one I forget I've turned it on except that it beeps to remind me that it's done and that I still have something in there. I clearly need that feature! It's also super compact even though I have no trouble fitting anything I want to microwave in there. And it's been easy to clean. I still need to learn more of its features but so far it's been quite easy to use. No complaints, it's great!
