Good Replacement

Bought this as a replacement to another GE Profile Spacemaker, so dimensions were critical. This is the same, only about 10 years newer than the other one that we really liked and was still working well, but the paint had chipped after someone put in a metal glass. So, in comparison, this one is noticeably quieter than the old one. I do also like the ability to hook up to the WiFi, but the only advantage I see to that so far is keeping the clock automatically set the clock. The only downside in comparison is the buttons are in different places (to be expected) and it seems like you have to press them harder to get them to register. I hope it functions as flawlessly as the last one did for as long or longer than it did too.

Adequate Performance:Hanging Holes Misaligned

The microwave performs adequately. Quality control issue with misalignment of holes placement making it nearly impossible to connect to the cabinetry hanging kit. Holes in top of microwave weren’t drilled in alignment. If it wasn’t the only small device available for the undercabinet space, we would have purchased an alternative brand.

Microwave seems ok trim kit is terrible

The microwave seems like the old one which it replaced. The trim kit is terrible. The original trim kit was better fitting and sleeker. This trim kit looks like it was an afterthought. Terrible design

Quality Control Issues - Nearly Impossible to hang

GE’s quality control is clearly in question. Misaligned holes drilled into top of microwave in no way align to hanging kit.

beautiful microwave with great features

This is the third GE over the counter microwave installed in our home. Same basic design, third model number, similar installation with no template. Each oven has had different mounting holes, however the four screws married perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What will go wrong next?

I have had my GE Profile microwave for less than 4 months & I have had nothing but trouble & service calls. First the main control panel was replaced & then the turntable motor was replaced. I think it is a LEMON! I’d really like it replaced
