Astonished that so many attachments were included with this Dyson Airwrap multi-styler. There is a bit of a learning curve-the Dyson videos on their website are the best at detailing and demonstrating step-by-step. If you follow those instructions you will achieve the results, and it doesn’t take longer than your usual routine. And if you are considering the Dyson because your current products are over-frying your hair, you are on the right track. For hair that tends to frizz like mine, I found that low air/high heat works best for the drying phase. For airwrap, high air/high or medium heat helps it wrap and the style to set. I have hair a bit longer than shoulder-length and somewhat wavy. The smaller diameter air-wrap is most successful for curly waves. The large round brush gives me a gorgeous straight somewhat volumized look. It is super easy to switch between attachments as you style. For example, I like to use the round brush to give my bangs a bit of a pouf, and the airwrap for the rest of my hair for the curly waves. You do not need to use the app to use airwrap; but the app does help with the timing for the airwrap, gives it an automatic cold shot and pauses while you grab another section to start to wrap. After you answer a few questions about your type of hair, it will alter the timing to achieve the best results for you. So why isn’t it a five star? If your hair isn’t the perfect state of slightly damp, the airwrap curl won’t last. You absolutely cannot use this on dry hair; spritz it first if you don’t wash it. I haven’t had the same problem with the brush attachment; it seems to get perfect results no matter what state of dampness (although still don’t useit with dry hair) I start with. I’m really curious if I could get a bit more curly style with the small brush attachment, and if I can emphasize my waves with a diffuser. So, I’m going to get a few more attachments that didn’t come with this model, lol. But my hair is gorgeous and healthy so that was my main goal.
I received this as a gift last month and following a slight learning curve, I’m loving it. It gives my hair great style and I love the connectivity to my phone while styling. There are many attachments I still have to try!
Great technology. I love how it pulls your hair to the curler and wraps it around itself. But my curls do not stay. I have tried mousse, texture, and hairsprays, but still no luck. Dyson if you have recommendations, please send me a message. I have watched videos from influencers on TikTok and YouTube and I still can’t make it work for me.
Had shoulder replacement and could just not do my hair at all - this has been a wonderful thing for me! I can do it with one arm and it comes out great.
Can’t download the app so I can’t use it ridiculous

First let me say, I already own a Dyson hairdryer. I have a lot of thick hair and I’m able to dry my long hair in 10 to 12 minutes with my Dyson.
The air wrap ID does not make any improvements on this… How could you?
I have used the paddle brush attachment, which works OK, I think it is more efficient to use a regular, vented paddle brush and the dryer because that way you can focus the air & heat on the hair without the hair blowing out of the brush.
The two curling attachments work very well, but it does take a little bit of practice to get the hang of it but once you do, it’s very very easy to use. I have not purchased the styling cream, which they recommend so I will not speak to how well my hair holds the curl after using this product. Because at this point in time, the curl falls out by about midday. Maybe The girl would last longer if I was using their recommended product. Also, it is recommended that you only dry your hair to 80% dryness before using these curling implements… That is very hard for me to get a grip on what that actually means and I assume it plays an impact on how well the hair holds the curl.
If you are into technology and styling your hair and have the time to take to learn how to use these different implements on their rap ID, this is your product!
