I received the Dyson Airwrap for my birthday. I had used my daughter's Dyson and loved it. Hers is an older model without the bluetooth. My hair dries so fast and love that the device connects to my phone for curling. No more having to do the cool shot the Bluetooth technology does it all for you. I love the look that I get as if my hair was blownout at a salon. I could not be happier. Just wish the Dyson was a little less pricey, heavy, and not so awkward to pack for travel.

I have fine, wavy (type 2A) chin length hair with long layers, but I still can’t get the hang of using the Airwrap. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and it looked simple enough, but, after 2 weeks, I am still struggling. Eventually, through a lot of trial and error, I was able to program the i.d. curl settings on the app to help me style my hair using the conical barrel attachment - I wish the set included a smaller barrel attachment (instead of the large one that came with the set.) I also wish the set had a small barrel brush instead of the ginormous one that is part of the set. I know I can purchase the smaller attachments, but I cannot justify the cost right now. With more practice and experimentation, I may get better at using the Airwrap i.d. but I am disappointed in the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
