I have fine, thin shoulder length hair. I was assured by the guy in the store that it would work for me. I bought this in the Union Square store in San Francisco.
The power on the lowest setting is too high, it kept blowing my hair everywhere, constantly knotted it up, and every time I put a curl in, the airflow from the next curl would blow my previous curl straight out.
It also kept roughing up the cuticle of the hair. My hair felt rougher and frizzier every time I used it.
If you have super long, thick hair, it would be great. Anyone else, forget it.

Was really hoping I would love this styler. For me, it was simply overkill. There are too many attachments. I already have a Dyson hairdryer.

It’s a beautifully designed hair dryer but it left my hair feeling like straw and I had another friend said it did the same to her hair. Perhaps, it’s not meant for kinky (african american) hair. I’m outside of my warranty and I’m stuck with it but sad nothing can be done. Money wasted.

It seems to be a quality product, and I commend Dyson for their innovation here. It however, did not work for my kind of hair (4B). I could get it to make some curls, but they didn’t hold long, disappointingly

I like to personalize my Dyson box, & I try to chat online, but it doesn't help. I have to go by their option, which doesn't make sense for me. What I'm trying to ask is not even the option. Very disappointed. I have 2 Dysons but neither of them is personalised

Worst money spent ever. Beautiful curls that last 0.2 seconds. Frizz beyond belief. A look you can achieve by just not doing your hair at all. It’s made for straight hair and they should advertise it as such. False advertising. Don’t buy it.

The new ID compared to the original is significantly different causing confusion and frankly the inability to use the product t like before. All those changed have negative impact in an 88 year old that uses the original and which actually helped daily self care. Not anymore with the new version. Unfortunate negative experience now with so many changes
