My curls last for days!

I’ve had this about a month now and it is the best thing I could have purchased. I have long course red hair and this makes my hair so soft and silky and my curls hold for multiple days and using the app is so easy cut down on blow dry time and I love that my curls can last for multiple days I get so many compliments! There’s a slight learning curve at first, but after watching a few TikTok’s and a YouTube video it was easy enough to learn
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not very beginner friendly

My bf surprised me with a Dyson Airwrap for Christmas because I had been eyeballing them and talking about it for months. I finally got it, and I don’t like it yet. Sometimes the air makes my hair frizzy when I’m trying to curl it, the curls don’t stay so I end up having to bust out my old curling iron, everyday. I love the blow dryer and the brush attachments but I can’t use this as a regular curling iron. I haven’t had the time to watch any tutorials so perhaps that will help. Still not certain I will keep it.

Returned not for me. The air wrap was not wrapping. My hair was damp and the dryer was on high heat high setting and it would not hold. I grabbed a smaller section and still nothing grabbed an even smaller section and nothing. It did grab maybe 2 or 3 strands but I’m not gonna waste my time blow drying 2 to 3 strands at a time it’ll take forever to finish styling. And this was supposed to be a “smart technology design device”. Also the large round volumizing brush was pulling my hair, trying different sections of hair different sizes and still caught on and it hurt so bad pulling some hair off. Not happy with this product.

Smart and versatile

I received this as a Christmas present from my husband and I am completely obsessed with it. It’s become the only tool I use. I feel like it’s not as damaging on my hair as conventional styling tools, and the versatility of all the attachments adds endless styling options. The ID curl technology is brilliant. The fact that it automatically heats and cools my hair while styling is groundbreaking. It did take me a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but once I did, I feel like I have a professional grade blowout and style every time. The investment feels worth it to me as I will be running this into the ground with use. I would note that I do think I have a beneficial texture and thickness to my hair that is compatible with the product. I have thicker, slightly coarse hair that does hold curl. I use styling products as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been wanting one of these for over a year and was super excited to get one for Christmas. I’m sadly disappointed in it. I was really looking forward to loving it. Unfortunately it doesn’t hold a curl whatsoever and I have really long hair so it stops auto wrapping midway up my hair and I manually go the rest of the way. Having long hair I would totally understand it not auto wrapping the entire way it wouldn’t be a big deal but the curl will not hold at all. It does give me volume which is a plus but the curls are gone within 30’min. It also is slower than just blow drying your hair and using a curling iron.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
