I have been growing my hair out and since it’s been long and heavy I have been frustrated with the lack of volume and body. Trying to round brush and blow dry was frustrating and hair really only looked good for 1 day.
Now I curl on wash day, have waves the next day and touch up the ends on day 3 for a blow out look.
The curl ID is worth the upgrade for me- i don’t have to think about how long there is heat on my hair.
There is a slight learning curve, but I watched the videos on the app and picked it up pretty quick.

You know those products that seem incredibly overpriced but once you purchase them, you can't imagine life without them (wireless headphones, the original Dyson dryer)? This is one of them. I waited YEARS to buy this and if I lost it, I'd be driving straight to the store to buy another. It looks like I've had a blow out every time I use it, and I can legitimately be done with it (once my hair is 80% dry) in 10 minutes.

I bought about 3 weeks ago and am disappointed. Advertised developed for most hair types. Mine is fine, straight and jaw length bob. I am only getting flat styles with no volume. The round brush and smoothing brush is for long hair, not mine. I like the dryer portion (quiet and light) and Dyson’s commitment to protecting hair.

I'm sorry I spent the coin on this product. The id curl feature doesn't work! - it did one time. I spent 30 minutes trying to do my hair for an event last weekend and ended up with a frizzy fried mess. It's total crap.

I think this is probably an exception hair dryer but I've had it for a couple weeks and, even with training videos and tiktoks, don't have a good handle on how to use the attachments for my hair type. I think this is part of the learning curve but without figuring out how to use the airwrap attachment specifically I'm not sure it will be worth the price for me

I have thick hair with tight frizzy curls. It has always taken at least 20 minutes to blow dry my hair straight and then another 20 to 30 minutes to either run the straightener through it to smooth it out. Now I'm dry and styled in 10 minutes flat. I don't feel like a prisoner to my hair routine anymore.
