Love it!

After the barrage of Amanda Walton ads I finally relented and ordered one for my IPhone 17Pro Max. Now I’m pretty much hooked and probably wouldn’t be without one. It’s extremely thin and very well constructed. I’ve had mine for nearly six months and it holds up well to some pretty rough treatment. The best feature is just its primary purpose - being an excellent phone grip, making it so easy to hold the relatively heavy 17 Pro Max. The other features aren’t quite as superlative. 1st off I have been unable to use Mag Safe charging with the Oh Snap on the phone. So I remove it for Mag Safe charging. Also, while the magnet holds the phone on some surfaces, the 17 Pro Max seems to be a little too heavy for the magnet on some surfaces and the phone slowly slides down the surface to which it’s attached. The 17 Pro Max is also too heavy for using the grip as a stand. But as a grip it is absolutely the best I’ve run across. Worth the price of admission just for the pleasure of using the grip IMO.

Better than a Popsocket.

I attempted to order a custom MagSafe popsocket but they rejected my order then I saw ohsnap. I like that they were much thinner and still MagSafe so I placed my order. I’m glad I went with the ohsnap instead I don’t even notice it’s on my case honestly. I do find myself using it as a thing to fidget with from time to time. Definitely recommend getting one they are easy to remove, thin, super strong magnets.

Works perfectly, super thin, extremely strong magnets to basically glue it to your phone and not actually using glue So thin it’s basically out the way when your not using it and so easy to flip open and use with one hand.You can definitely tell that they spend a lot of time in the engineering of this product to make it great. Have tried any of the knockoffs but I would say it’s worth it to shell out on this original if you have the money for it

Great grip!

The grip easily attaches to the phone. My only issue is I have to stick it to a perfectly flat piece of metal in order for it to hold the weight of the phone. I think maybe the black center piece may start to stick out just a smidge after repeated use, making it interfere when using on a flat service. This is probably not an issue when attaching to a car mount. I haven’t tried it on an actual car mount or charger. I usually just stick it to the fridge or washer.

Wireless charging doesn’t work properly unfortunately. Also, the grip uses plastic components so it feels like it could break in the future. Other than that it’s good to have a grip that is this slim.

Ok, not great

Many of the features are not as good as claimed. The grip doesn't close with a satisfying “magnetic snap”, as a matter of fact, sometimes it wont even close, i have to press it down several times or downright hold it for it to stay shut. Additionally, the magnet back doesn't work well. It will always slide down the surface it’s stuck to under the phones weight. The “one finger mode” is too small for bigger hands. And im not a fan of the grip being plastic while the body is a nice aluminum finish, which makes it feel cheaper. I wish they were both aluminum.

Mediocre Grip, Fails to Deliver on Unique Features

As a phone grip, it does the job passably well. In that arena, it does not reinvent the wheel but neither does it break it. Regarding what makes the Snap Grip unique, the ability to use MagSafe chargers through the grip or to magnetically stick to metallic surfaces, it fails to deliver. On magnetic surfaces of any thickness, it slowly slides downward, negating any benefit to being able to stick it on. When attached to a MagSafe charger, it heats up the phone and the grip but fails to register a connection for charging at all. If and when the day comes that I need a new grip, I will be looking elsewhere for one that provides such basic features at a more appropriate price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
