Great upgrade

I ended up getting this when I had issues with the older style oh snap. The magnetic closure for the grip is the best upgrade for luxe. I will always use this over any other grip. It is the thinnest grip and love the car kit also. I can’t recommend it enough.

I absolutely love the latest version! Looks sleek with my new iPhone 15 pro titanium and it’s functional. Strong magnet, nice kickstand, and replaced those bulky pop sockets
Well worth the price.. so excited I bought two!!

Worth the upgrade!

I love that I'm able to use this version with one hand! There was some hesitation in buying this version because I didn't use my Snap 3 so much because of the effort it took to use it. This version is much easier, much more quiet, and much more durable. I've been a fan since Snap 1 and Snap 4 is for sure the best one so far!

I love the ohsnap! Snap 4 Luxe! I like how thin it is, yet does what it was made to do. Being magnetic is a wicked awesome feature, especially for doing videos and photos. The built in stand is also very useful for watching videos. I love the rotation of the snap, and the adhesive works amazingly well. I’m constantly flicking and spinning the snap, king of like a fidget spinner toy. I’m so happy I got this.

Perfect successor to the Snap 3

I have be using OhSnap grips since the beginning, and while I have always loved them, and recommended them to everyone I could, Snap 1-3 all had some kind of annoying design flaw or high risk failure area. The Snap 3 was a pain to install properly, did not stick to silicone cases well, was prone to hinge failure, was cumbersome to open with one hand, and was loud when opened or closed. I am very happy to say that OhSnap! has solved all of these problems with the Snap 4 Luxe. Installation was so unbelievably easy and satisfying that I immediately told my wife she had to watch me install hers on her phone. The magnets are perfectly designed so that all you have to do is open the grip hold, and dangle it over the MagSafe spot of the phone or case and it snaps exactly into place on its own. Additionally, I have always loved Apple’s official silicone cases, and was very sad when the previous generations of the Snap did not stick to it reliably over time. But, the Snap 4 adheres very well to the Apple-branded silicone case for my iPhone 15 Pro. I also noticed that the Snap 4 colors that are available match very well with Apple’s silicone cases. While time will ultimately tell, the hinge design of the Snap 4 does appear to be much more sturdy than the 3, so I’m hoping that means less risk of failure. The new edge design on the Snap 4 inner disc makes opening with one hand so much easier than the 3, and it doesn’t make an annoyingly loud popping noise whenever it’s opened or closed. The magnetic mechanism for closing it and keeping it closed is smooth and very well designed, even satisfying. I do a lot of automotive work, so being able to magnetically mount my phone on demand is incredibly empowering. I also found the rotation feels sturdier and more smooth than the Grip 3.
The only area I can see for improvement isn’t really a major issue at all. I find that when the phone is flat in its back on a table, for example, if I want to tap the bottom 1/3 of the phone screen (such as typing something while the phone is set down), the phone will wobble forward and back because while the camera area and grip are about the same thickness (with a case), there is nothing on the bottom third of the back of the case/phone to keep it steady. This could be solved with a single line of some material that extends straight down from the grip, perhaps something similar in design shape as you see on many MagSafe accessories. Honestly not a big deal, as I know that’s a niche problem, but that’s the only thing I can think of to improve this otherwise perfect product. I would strongly recommend these to anyone with an iPhone, especially ones with MagSafe!
