I love how thin and functional it is. Way better than a pop socket! I’ve had both and prefer my snap. Only downside is the magnet doesn’t hold my iPhone 14 Pro very well.
Everything is great with the Snap 4 Luxe except one small issue. It doesn't charge using the wireless charging area of the Tesla Model Y and 3. In the Model Y, it "charges" but the phone drains faster than charging it. When I take it off the charger, the metal on the Snap 4 Luxe is too hot to handle. I have to let it cool first before putting the phone in my pocket. On the Model 3, it doesn't charge at all. Besides that, I love everything else about the product. Unfortunately, I'll have to go back to using my MagSafe PopSocket due to the wireless charging issue.
Great product, sometimes bends the wrong way when putting the socket back in

Awesome product, but one gripe is that the socket sometimes has the tines bend the wrong way when trying to put it back into the housing. Nothing has broken yet, but it seems like that is a potential failure point down the road. Would prefer that it lay flat, the little nubs on the socket stick out a smidge and make the phone uneven when on its back on a desk, but that’s a minor gripe.
I was skeptical when I purchased, especially for the price, but this product is built really well and will last. The magnetic ring is much stronger than the original MagSafe magnet and when I attach it to my MagSafe car charger, it’s a very strong connection. It withstands bumps and rough roads way better than before. And the adhesive glue keeps the snap on my phone instead of getting left behind on the MagSafe charger.
The Snap 4 has improved on every aspect of its predecessor before it. My only concern now is longevity. Hoping Ohsnap releases some iPhone cases with either a thinner section for the grip to sit in or just cuts a circular hole for direct phone contact.
After switching to the 4 luxe, my anker wireless chargers start flashing and won’t charge my phone after about 30 minutes of being connected. Does it have anything to do with the metal on the new grips versus the old plastic ones?
Other than that, this is my favorite grip so far! It feels more sturdy, looks so good with my titanium iphone!
We will see how it holds out compared to the other ones I found that the other ones would eventually break. And I do find that they get very very hot on mag wireless charger but we will see
