I miss the sticky grip!

I had the last generation of snaps and I absolutely LOVED it and sang its praises to anyone who’d listen! It was the perfect grip, stayed in place, snapped to my car mount perfectly. I only upgraded because it was getting pretty scuffed up and the little disc didn’t always go back in and stay in place. On this latest gen (without the adhesive), I’ve had the grip come off my iPhone several times now. I’ve also noticed it doesn’t love my car mount as much and I have to place it just right (my last one, if I just got close, it would immediately snap into place and align itself on its own). Wish it still had the sticky back and not just the magnets.

Not for me - big hands

I really wanted to love the OhSnap!, and there are definitely some things about it that I genuinely liked. The thinness is impressive, the magnetic attachment is strong, and I appreciate that it still allows the phone to charge while it's attached to the iPhone. From a design standpoint, it’s sleek and very well thought out.Unfortunately, the most important feature for me—the pop-out grip—just didn’t work well. My hands and fingers are on the larger side, and the grip felt too small and a bit flimsy. It never felt particularly secure when holding the phone.It also struggled as a stand. It didn’t hold the phone up very well, which was disappointing since that’s a key use case for me.In the end, I didn't use it, gave it to my niece and the next day and picked up a cheaper alternative with metal ring grips on the back. That one feels much sturdier, comfortably fits my fingers, and holds the phone securely both vertically and horizontally.The OhSnap! is a clever and very slim design, but for anyone with larger hands or who wants a more stable stand, it may not be the best fit.

This is one of the best grips I have purchased! I love that it is flush with the camera and does stick out too far and the magnetic grip is strong!

Unfortunately, the rear magnet isn't strong enough to stay secure on certain metal surfaces (specifically gym equipment). It also lacks horizontal versatility, as the stand doesn't offer a natural landscape view. I've decided to return this and try the Snap Grip Stand instead; it appears to offer better viewing angles, and I'm interested to see how the magnetic strength compares. Otherwise, the standard Snap Grip works as intended—it's ultra-thin, durable, and offers great wireless charging compatibility.

Sadly not for me

I really wanted to love these, but the first one broke on day 1. Maybe I just misunderstood how to get the holder accessible, but I immediately pulled it out in such a way that it would no longer lay flat and truthfully, the plastic straps or supports aren't very comfortable between my fingers anyway. The magnet wasn't strong enough through my thin phone case, so i got a new case with a magnet in it. Now the holder stays attached to the phone case, but now the phone no longer stays stuck on my car mount magnet. It also makes my wireless charger stand useless unless I remove the case and holder. I bought a new* magsafe car mount , but the snap holder just doesn't stay attached. Falls down while I drive. Frankly, I think this design is less comfortable than the old pop sockets and less useful than the scooch magnetic holder. I think I wasted some time and money here.

Better than the 4, good but still got issues

This new one has a coating on the metal that’s nice for not scratching stuff I stick it to like fridge but the coating itself scratches off easily and makes the product look crappy. This new one initially fixed my biggest issue with the last one in that it doesn’t need adhesive but when trying to put my phone on a MagSafe mount it gets disoriented and does not want to align on it at all. It’s like the magnets are pushing it off of alignment but at least after spending 30 seconds trying to align it, it will stay on the phone unlike the old one that would align perfectly but would stay on the mount and not the phone when taking the phone off of it. Another issue is that the thing that pops out doesn’t want to stay down when you push it back after using it for a bit. The best thing about this one so far is that my MagSafe charger works through it unlike my old one with my case on. Overall I like this one more than the old 4 one I had. I wouldn’t pay what they charge for it but I got it from a warranty claim on my old one that I got on sale and I’m pretty happy with it for that reason. It’s to the point that my phone feels bare without it so I’d say it’s pretty alright.

Not for S Pen use

The magnet messes with s pen use. Found out by doing diagnostic check on phone; when it gets to S pen it tells you to remove any magnetic caseses or accessories.
