Not what i expected.

Uses adhesive in order to be able to use with magsafe accessories. The grip feels flimsy / not sturdy. It does the job but in my opinion it’s not better than the original pop socket magsafe. Oh but you’ll be able to mount your phone on anything magnetic
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second oh snap purchase and I absolutely love it. The slim profile is exactly what I was looking for and the functionality of the pop socket itself is awesome. I also purchase their black case and special bonus I love the three color tones when my phone sits face down on the table: black case, blue phone peeking through the camera space and the wine pop socket itself. Should mention - this was a replacement for the same pop socket I purchased a few moths earlier that I lost. That pop socket had a faulty magnet on the back that kept popping loose, making the item a little less stable so it would detach from my phone at times. I doubt it will happen again and love the product so much that I just purchased a second one.

Great ideas, pretty good implementation

I’m a fan of another company’s MagSafe grip, but the biggest issue was that I wanted something that could stay on my phone all the time and still work with other MagSafe mounts and chargers. So I was kind of excited about this design. I’d say it delivered reasonably well, but I’ve switched back to my other grip that I just take on and off as necessary.Pros:As advertised, it is slim, light, attaches securely to the phone, and connected pretty well to my MagSafe car mountCons:- My nightstand MagSafe charger did not work through it, so I still had to remove it when I went to bed.- it was not comfortable or convenient for me to open it up with one hand for gripping. It could be done, but it wasn’t a natural move at all- the origami style mechanism that opens up for gripping is a pretty cool design, but I have to say it was a little rough and uncomfortable on the finger. That’s one of the reasons I like the grip that I use from another company: it’s a soft silicone strap

New grip, more difficulty with wireless charging

My previous OhSnap grip was the last model with adhesive and this is my first one without adhesive. While it is nice that it’s easier to remove and reapply, it’s more difficult to find the “sweet spot” on my wireless charger and have it fail to charge several times. Previously, the magnet was strong enough to easily attach to my charger but, with the newest model of OhSnap, it seems less magnetic and more difficult to get my charger in the right spot. I wish they offered grips with and without adhesive.
