Love this thing

I put this on my phone and haven't removed it since. Doesn't get in the way sticks to metal and props my phone. And isn't even bigger than most of my cases bumps.

Won’t always lay flat

One of the folding pieces gets stuck and I have to manually move it to the proper direction for it to fold.

I like the look of the Snap Grip, and appreciate the low profile and the ability to use a one finger or two finger grip. But when used as a stand, it seems rather flimsy and wobbly compared to others I’ve used.

Love this as an alternative to pop sockets and heavy magnetic grips that do the same thing. So easy to slip into pocket or purse.

Falls off too easily

I tend to drop my phone and this new version is the first OhSnap I’ve had that falls off when I drop my phone. I nearly lost it when I first got it not realizing it would have this problem, then last week I actually lost it. No idea where it is. Questioning whether buying a new one is worth it if I’m just likely to lose it again because it won’t stay on. Love the design besides that, I’ve used these grips for years, but this is a pretty bad defect. Besides that the one I had was chipping pretty bad, so it wasn’t looking great. I was about to file a warranty claim when I lost it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's great, but.....

I really loved my Gen 4 grip (5* for that one!), but when I switched my case, I lost my glue (yes, I will order a replacement). I ordered the Gen 5 and I am so bummed that it will not charge with the grip installed. :( :( :(Removing it to charge just means I am going to lose it. I've already misplaced it once in the 2 weeks I've had it! lol Had I realized that, I would have just purchased the replacement glue for my Grip 4 instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased it to use while on back of the motorcycle. Not confident of the springs (for lack of better words) that your finger fits between, but time will tell.
