Hard to beat

TLDR- this grip holds up well, is easily moved to a new case, and the charge through function is super handy.I bought the luxe grip about a year ago for my iPhone 15 pro max and used it until I upgraded to the 16 pro max. I didn’t trust their claims that it could be removed and used on another case, and I wanted to be able to swap MagSafe accessories so I bought a MagSafe ring grip instead. That’s exactly what lead to me writing this review. During those months without my oh snap grip, I was constantly annoyed because I obviously had to remove the ring grip to charge my phone and I would forget to grab it in the morning or would knock it off my night stand and have to search for it. The ability to charge through the grip doesn’t seem like that big of a deal but it really is a simple thing that just makes life easier. I have tiny hands so holding such a large phone without a grip just isn’t comfortable. Another thing I learned to appreciate is the fact the oh snap grip really does stay on the phone until you purposely remove it. I drop my phone a LOT, and most of the time the ring grip would pop off and I’d end up hunting it down. It was especially annoying when driving since I use a magnetic mount. My luxe grip is admittedly pretty scuffed up from all the drops it endured but it always stayed put. I recently bought a second case for my 16 pro max, and the ring grip I’ve only had for 2 months is barely useable so I decided to test how reusable the oh snap grip really is. It was easy enough to remove from the 15 case it was still living on, and I was surprised to see it left next to no residue that was easily wiped off even after a year of being on the case. I popped it right on to the new phone case and sure enough, it’s just as secure as it was on the first case. The mechanism still works perfectly and is honestly much more comfortable than the ring ever was. It also has a much stronger hold when attaching my phone to metal surfaces. The oh snap grip is also thin enough to easily use with other accessories. If you’re on the fence I can tell you these grips are well worth buying.

Nice but slightly disappointing

I bought this about a month ago and it’s been working well in general. After about two weeks, the rotation function stopped working well and gliding smoothly. At times, I can’t get it to rotate at all, which is very frustrating. I’ve tried cleaning it out with compressed air, which only helps for a few minutes. Bummed that it now doesn’t work very well for my needs.

Keeps falling off

I got this about July this pass year and randomly when I would be laying down with my phone the socket would detach and my phone would fall on my face. I also have had it detach while connected vertically to a metallic object while at the gym. Feels good when you aren't worried about it falling off

Thought it would be perfect for reading in bed at night., but mag not strong enough as phone soon slipped off . Had to tape it, now it will not rotate. And button won’t recess Good idea , still has kinks.

Fantastic iPhone Accessory

The snap grip looks great and is super easy to use. I like the fact that it swivels around so you don’t have to try and rotate it by taking it off your phone. I have a thicker case on my phone so chargers do not work on it with the snap grip looks on, but it is super easy to take off at night and put back on in the morning since I left the adhesive cover on. It also makes for a fantastic fidget toy.

Want to love! But falls off ..

I asked for Thai as a gift. It works as a finger hold but everytime I use it with the mag safe charge on my in the car mounted charger it falls off.... So idk what to do about that. I specifically wanted it for that reason and I can't even use it for that... If I have the heat on too it melts the adhesive or something and it falls off .. like the ohsnap is attached the the carmount and my phone is now under my feet.. 🙃 send helo
