I wanted this because the popsocket that I had on my previous phone caught my pockets all the time when I put my phone in my pocket. I will say this definitely does not have the same problem. However I find it much more difficult to use than a popsocket. I can't open it with one hand which I usually want to do. Once I get it out it takes two hands to be able to get my fingers underneath it to hold my phone. Once I get it out a little bit I can't get two fingers underneath it without it trying to collapse back on itself. Also many times while I've been holding my phone this has come unstuck and my phone fell. Luckily I was sitting and not walking around, but it doesn't give me any confidence in it out in the world. It does lock nicely to create a kickstand which is nice. But 95% of the time I'm frustrated with trying to open it with one hand to use it. It is pretty magnetic which is cool, I've yet to ever need that function but nice to know it exists. Not that I trust it fully since it comes unstuck. It does not work on my wireless charging pad though. I don't have a magsafe charger. It rotates, but so did the popsocket I used to use.
Snap V3 seems more functional and I like the magnet fasten opposed to plastic click, however, the adhesive is much weaker than my snap V1 was. My first Ohsnap lasted over a year and my new snap peeled off my phone after two days :( sad
My hands are on the small side, which is why I need a little extra support holding the weight of my iPhone 15pro max and a Casely case. I didn't realize that the OhSnap had to adhere to a particular place on the back of the phone and that area puts the Snap too high for me to reach easily. I will still keep this, it's made well, and I like the various ways to hold it, but it would be much better if I could place it lower because my fingers just can't quite reach. If I'm only reading an article and scrolling, it's fine. But if I'm texting, I can't really use the OhSnap.
Look I like it.. but.. it’s not as great as all the videos.. mine doesn’t spin around smoothly. It actually barely gets a quarter spin and jams. As far as functionality goes it’s not as easy one handed as you guys make it seem. And I am the change your phone cover periodically guy .. so now that it’s on there I’m stuck with it on this one case alone. And I didn’t see an option for purchasing more adhesive rings so I guess that’s that. And if I stick it straight to my phone then what. No case? You guys are close to greatness you just need to follow through a bit. I did mount this straight to my phone and then I took my favorite case and cut a hole out just the size of the holder.. now it’s near flush and I get the functionality.. perhaps you guys can sell cases with holes in them to accommodate the holder.. I’m going to cut out the remainder of my cases to fit this thing
I have to say I was doubtful when I got. It’s so light and thin BUT it works much better than the various rings that continually fall off and make me drop my phone.
It is an excellent phone grip but unfortunately even if you claim that it is thinner than my iPhone 16 pro max camera bump it would not charge on my auto clamp wireless phone car charger. I have to remove the ohsnap to make it charge.
