I like it but, discontent with the new magnets

I am a long standing Ohsnap customer and have continued to be because of the slim, versatile and magnet form factor. However, with this new version I am noticing that I am not able to use with previos Ohsnap products like the wall mount because it seems like the magnets repel. Additionally, the new format doesn't seem to have a strong magnet as previous models since it would slide or move when attached to a metal vertically (i.e. on my microwave).I also don't love that there is no longer glue to connect to the phone on top of the magnets. I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold which has snap grip, but still the magnet is not strong enough to prevent it from coming off when using it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s nice but limited

It’s very thin. The magnets are strong and it stays put. I like that it can stay on my phone and charge on my home charger. It doesn’t charge in my car however so I have to pull it off to use the wireless charger there. Apparently I have short, thick sausage fingers because I struggle to get my finger inside. When I try two fingers around it just doesn’t feel secure in my hand. Forget using one finger. Trying to use it as a kickstand I find it very wobbly. I’ll try it a while longer, but will likely relegate it to the drawer of failed things I wasted money buying.

Slim, but not as solid as it could be

It’s slim, which is nice. But the pop feature is kinda flimsy, and I’m kinda bummed they got rid of the charge through option on the 5 as that was why I was looking to buy it in the first place. Wasn’t until after I got it that I found out it doesn’t charge through. For the price it seems like it’s not as worth it, even with the discounts. As a kick stand it’s somewhat small, my previous MagSafe ring stand may be coming back into service even though it’s thicker than the oh snap. We’ll see.

When I gave ohsnap installed and on a MagSafe charger. It will not charge. I don’t have a phone case on my phone. I have a MagSafe mount in my vehicle, when I make a turn, my phone falls off the mount into the ground. I have to remember to remove the ohsnap and then mount it on phone holder.

Magnet too weak to attach to charger or other metal surfaces

I had the perfect setup for my car with a magnet on my visor and the snap 4 connected great. Once I switched to the 5 (due to wear on the 4), it slides off easily. Its not strong enough for an iphone 14 pro max and case. I regret buying new chargers and grip.

This thing is perfect! I recently tried a different grip, but it was way too thick and didn’t feel great in my pocket. This is super thin, is easy to put on and take off and is easy to use!
