Design changes.

I absolutely loved grip 4 luxe. I was so excited for the 5 that I bought it right away. I was quickly disappointed. I'm an Android user so the adapter is necessary for my phone. It was the same case for the 4 as well. For some reason with the new design the snap grip sticks better to the stand or the car mount then it does my phone. It was constantly coming off while the adapter was still firmly planted to my phone and the grip was now stuck onto the stand. In the car, any bump I hit my phone would go flying while the grip was stuck to the car mount. I'm not sure what changed. I prefer the old one more. I do still preach this brand to every person I see (most people have iphones). This is my favorite company hands down. I'm just sad their product no longer works for me.

Doesn’t work with phone case

I thought the clip would work with phone a phone case, but I unfortunately it doesn’t. I think it would be fine if I could find an adhesive to put it on with.

Appears cheaply made, flimsy, worried it would break. Hard to open and fingers would not fit in-between the pop out tab

This accessory is exactly as advertised; it is the same depth as the camera on my iPhone, so my phone lies flat. The material used for the finger hold is stronger than I expected. I would recommend and buy it again.

That moment when you realize you don’t need any type of adhesive to keep your snap grip on your phone when you pull it away from a Qi2 wireless charger....chef’s kiss. 🤌🏻

I was surprised at how well this worked out! The single and double finger hold makes it easy to hold my phone and an armful of things. And the best surprise is how well the magnet sticks to metal surfaces—especially workout machines! I no longer have to look down at my cycle interval timers. It’s right there at eye level!

Feels like cheap crap

Feels way cheap. VERY uncomfortable grip that you fingers can’t intuitively grab. You pop it up and you can’t just slide both fingers in. Maybe because it’s new and when you pop it up one side goes up and one side is down further. Plastic feels like it’s going to break at any moment. Magnet is good and it does charge wirelessly. Honestly, I’ll probably be going back to pop socket.

4 month check-in and I hate it. Bought the whole set during a sale with the case, grip, wallet, and car mount. It’s rusted which also stained the case, the magnets fall out, moisture gets trapped behind the clear part on the back. The magnets aren’t strong and barely hold my phone up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
