Improvement

The one thing that I seem to notice that feels quite different from pop socket is the actual circle that pulls out is too small for most fingers, you can actually feel the difference when you hold it compared to a pop socket there’s less surface area on the circle since is so thin. Maybe snap grip 6 can have some improvement in that area.

The 4 was better

This product was a downgrade from the Oh Snap 4. The magnet isn't as strong as the 4 and the adhesive magnet that keeps the 5 on a non-Magsafe case isn't strong enough either. The grip will fall off if dropped hard enough or if you grab it the wrong way. Not worth the money.

Not a great experience

Unfortunately I haven’t been impressed with my O Snap. It doesn’t always fold flat without me having to manipulate it. And worst of all, it has fallen off of my phone a couple of times. It is currently lost. It fell off at some point during the day yesterday - all of sudden it just wasn’t there. I hadn’t dropped my phone so I don’t know why it would have come off. I hope it shows up.

Snap 5 is a downgrade for me

I’ve used the Snap Grip for the past three years and loved it because it’s flat and didn’t need to be removed to charge my iPhone — it was a game changer.After upgrading to an iPhone 17 Pro Max in Cosmic Orange, I was excited to order the Snap 5 in a matching color. While I like that it’s removable (no adhesive), the magnetic connection to my chargers is noticeably weaker. In my car, my phone constantly falls off the charger, which is extremely frustrating.Support suggested removing the Snap Grip while charging, but that defeats the entire reason I’ve used Snap all these years. For me, this is a major downgrade. Since the Snap 4 has been discontinued, I’ll be looking online to buy and stock up on them because I can’t use this new version. Unfortunately, they’ve lost a customer.

Rad colors, strong magnets!

This is a rockin snap grip! Seems flimsy when you first deploy it, but it's held up so far. Magsafe charges through the grip, although it sometimes gets pretty hot when doing so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bring back the adhesive

i've been a snap user for a long time, but this new version that's magnet only is a total bust. i absolutely hate it. it comes off constantly. i only had it for a few weeks before i ultimately lost it, and in that time it was a struggle to keep it connected to my phone. i never had this problem with previous versions. doing away with the adhesive was a huge mistake. make the product worthless.

Almost perfect with one minor flaw...

I been purchasing snap grips since the version 2 and I really like how they keep improving them each time. I like this because of the strong magnets, the thinness and is adhesive free. BUT one complaint I have is the “soft coating” layer they put on this version gets discolored and peels within days ! I had to return one because of this and the new one had the same issue... I ended up peeling it all off and now it looks much nicer and cleaner with the regular aluminum showing. I hope they can get rid out of the coating.
