I love Snap Grip 4, and I was super excited for Snap Grip 5. I am not disappointed. I think that there is room for stronger magnets. That is my only complaint.Oh boo hoo, without adhesive my grip sticks to the back of my stove instead of my phone, and I can't stick my phone onto the frame of my desk. These are very incredibly minor... I don't even want to call them issues because they are barely even inconveniences.I notice that the ring is a bit thicker than before, that bodes well for durability.I also really like the slightly grippy stuff on the bottom of the middle part, that helps combat unwanted rotation. All considered, a very good advancement for Snap Grip's lineup, especially with the return of a nice dark blue.
Did not use the finger strap heavily in the short time I had it, but now it won't collapse back down. Had to hold it tight for it to stay down, now doesn't work. Not sure if it's my phone or charger but wireless charging did not work with it on, always had to remove. The stand was my favorite part. Overall disappointed that it didn't last long.
I like all the features for holding/ propping my phone but I also quite enjoy fidgeting with it separate from the phone. 😆 They did well with the slim profile too- that’s what grabbed my attention in their ads. I detest bulky grips and this actually helps the new iPhone sit flatter, so kudus to the design team!
I was a little hesitant about how secure the magnets were and I'm glad to say I was wrong. It is secure and has all the function of the original one AND I can move it if I change my case.
