Not as strong OhSnap4 Luxe

I recently upgraded to the OhSnap 5 Grip, and overall I like some of the changes from the OhSnap4 Luxe. It is great not having to worry about adhesive anymore since it is all magnets now. That makes it easy to spin as a fidget and feels a bit more durable thanks to the slightly thicker design.On the downside, the magnet to attach to a metal wall or my car mount is not as strong. When I stick it to a metal wall the phone slowly slides down over time. Also the coating finish on the color ring is already peeling and it has not even been a month of use.

Do I like it? Yes. It sticks to metals, the fridge, the gym, etc. is it as good as SnapRing 4? Nope. It’s worse. I have the OhSnap car mounts and the desk mount, with the SG4 I’ve had no issues with the phone staying in place. With the new SG5, it falls off very easily. If I go over a bump it falls off, if I twist for landscape, it falls off. It’s bad enough that I have to use the SG4 again... the SG5 doesn’t meet expectations. TBH, it seems as though the magnets push away, maybe they’ll need to upgrade either the grip or the rest of their lineup. If you’re using any OhSnap mounts, be warned... SG5 isn’t the best for it.

Super thin and super sturdy. Best grip I've had. Really comfortable even with my fat fingers. Im gonna get another color.

The branding, color and finish looks great. The functionality of it is a bit disappointing and seems to be losing its magnetism and snappiness within a few days.

I feel mislead by the advertisement for this product. Mag safe charging does NOT work when it is attached!!!! That’s the whole purpose of why I got it!

I've had every generation of the ohsnap and this is the first grip to fall off the fridge. Its probably also that I have a pixel fold 10 which is heavier than an iPhone.

Love the versatility of the Ohsnap cell phone holder. It’s very comfortable, very easy to use and folds up into a thin package on the back of my phone.I can’t wait for the white ones to be restocked so I can purchase one of those.
