New grip doesn’t lock onto my OHSNAP car mount

Love this new unit until I went to drive. My ohsnap mount and this don’t LOCK in like my previous models that I still own. I feel obligated to buy a new car mount in order for this thing to work properly.

Th ads I saw for this are spot on! It’s super thin, super strong, and I love all of the color choices. I absolutely recommend this and will probably get one or two more.

I hated the idea of Popsockets from day one. OhSnap has taken that idea and made something amazing! One thing though. Wireless charging gets a little warm when charging through it.

Not as strong

I recently upgraded to the new Snap Grip 5, because I love not having to deal with the adhesive. However the grip isn't strong enough to hold my phone on anything. It slides down anything I stick it too, including the Snap Car Mount. The built-in mag safe magnet held my phone better. Only thing I love is the color and the ease of removing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adhesive is too weak for Androids

I have an Android phone so I applied the adhesive magnetic ring sticker to the back of my phone. I followed all the directions, even used a book to compress it in place for a better stick. Despite this, only a few days after getting it, the grip came off *with* the sticker. The magnet was stronger than the adhesive (which wasn't very strong to begin with), which seems counterintuitive. I'm sure it would be better if I had an iPhone but this is a no-go for Android.
