Nice but for S25 Ultra owners

I bought an S25 Ultra and magsafe case, then wanted a removable grip since the phone is large. I originally went with my previous gen oh snap grip that was magsafe and held with adhesive. It didn't allow me to charge wirelessly. I bought the new magsafe oh snap grip so I could remove it for wireless charging. The only con now is that the SPen doesn't work properly when the oh snap grip is attached. That's my big flaw, plus I've had the grip fall off many times. The case is a Mous.
I have a Version 4 grip that I love. It used a reusable adhesive to attach to the case. It held strong and the magnets in the Oh Snap ring would grip to magnetic mounts very well. Better than any MagSafe cases would. Now Version 5 uses magnets to hold onto to your case so the magnets in the ring that would grip a magnetic mount can no longer be as strong as before because the ring might stay on the mount when you remove the phone instead of sticking to the phone and coming with you. A plain MagSafe case now attaches to the magnetic mounts better than the OhSnap 5 ring will. I'm very disappointed. By the way, I have never had a charger not charge the phone with this ring on it. There was no reason to ever remove the ring easily, so the adhesive was just fine. Go back to the adhesive!
The magnet is weak. When I pop it open it the design gets stuck and won’t stick back most of the time. And the only comfortable thing way to use it is with the finger in hole. The only good thing is how thin it is and the stand .
The sleekness is nice, love the magnetic feature as well. However, the thinness of the plastic makes the grip a bit uncomfortable. It’s not soft on your fingers, especially when you grip it the wrong way, it feels like plastic stabbing into your fingers. Also, because the plastic is so thin, it bends in ways you don’t expect and therefore doesn’t close properly due to the plastic bending out of shape. It forces you to have to manually bend the plastic properly so it can close. I think taking that into consideration for the next version would really help a lot, thin is cool until it gets in the way of everyday use.
This is awesome. I love the versatility and the magnetic concept so i can go ahead and use it on any of my magsafe cases. However, it doesn't stay on my case that well. I've had it pop off plenty of times already and have lost it in my pocket when i pull my phone out to use it. I think it might be the case since on my friend's phone case it was on very strongly so i will check other cases i have to see if it stays better
I got this with high hopes. It’s just okay. The quality is fine. The problem is mine I guess. I have large hands and it’s a little too snug when I try to use it. The Snap Grip 5 doesn’t want charge on my stand when attached to my iPhone. I would just return it for a refund but I have to pay the shipping which makes it a loose loose proposition. I guess I will give it away to a friend with “normal” sized hands.
New design magnet is not as strong as previous version. Using this with iPhone 17 pro max, when you attempt stick the phone to metal it just slides down and the clear coat finish peels off after a few uses. Oh snap sent a replacement which is doing the same thing.
