Love this new grip. Nice to be able to remove it. Only complaint is it causes my snap grip charger and other magnetic charges to charge hot. Since I can slide it off not really a problem!

Great Attachment

I have had this attachment for two years now and love it. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and this has turned my phone into a quick and easy work light whether using the stand feature or the strong magnetic base. Also great when I am cooking, I can have my phone on the fridge or microwave playing a video. I love how slim it is also, I hardly even notice it being there. It doesn’t sit up any higher than the ridge around my camera lenses on my case. MagSafe stuff works through it too which is nice. I am about to buy another one as the glue has worn down after two years, and it no longer stays glued to my new case. The magnet holds it in place, but I have had it come off of the phone when I place it on heavier metals. That’s to be expected after this length of time and of no fault to the product or manufacturer. All in all, great product and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Does almost what I want

Phone won’t charge with this and my case. My case alone will slow the charge. I suspect it is still just too thick. I think the newer one may solve the issue because I heard it was thinner. Right now it would look like it is going to charge but then stops after like a min. It did fix my issue of the socket always popping through. The finger hold mechanism is alright. Hard plastic and harder to handle. Could scratch/cut your fingers trying to get it through. I do like the adhesive though. Wish they didn’t get rid of that option.

Versatility is good but...

The grip has good usability but it seems to be designed for small/medium sized hands. The collapsible plastic over extends when using a single finger grip and it becomes difficult to collapse the grip back to its sitting position. It also becomes uncomfortable to hold the phone as the fingers are getting squeezed. Perhaps my hands are too big for this mechanism. Definitely consider adding a larger size to accommodate Manlier hands.
