Am I trippin or is this new model SO much worse than the past ones? I had the last model with the adhesive tape and that snap grip was always secured firmly to everything I stuck it on. The snap grip 5? Can barely hold my phone up, even in my car with the oh snap brand car mount. Save your money.
It’s so good I forget it’s even there... until I remember I have the privilege of holding my phone effortlessly. Then my mind is blown again when I stick it to metal. Total game changer. Can’t believe I waited until version 5
I wanted to love this thing but removed it after a week because: a) I hardly ever used it, and b) it makes wireless charging takes longer and sonetimes it is difficult to charge.
My snap grip 5 is okay. I don’t love it like I thought I would. I just like it. With my old manual pop socket, I’d pull it out and that was it. Not clumsy and it stayed out until I pushed it back in. The snap grip fits tight and definitely won’t fall off. But it’s super clumsy to use. I have to fiddle with it to get my two fingers to sit under the flap just right. And I wish it would stay out until I was ready to put it away. Every time I put my phone down it collapses and I have to fiddle with it again to use it. I’d give it 5 stars if it could stay out until I’m done with it. For now it just gets 4 stars from me.
Love the low Profile, but Quality and Functionality needs work

I've had my snap grip now for about 2 weeks and love how truly ultra thin it is. The magnet is also nice and strong, and I love the color.I am noticing that the coat on the outer ring is already chipping off thought - and I also don't think the outer ring is metal as advertised - so that has been a big disappointment. The other issue I keep running into is the the grip constantly gets jammed and I have to manually adjust to fold it back down.
Cool tech and concept! Lacks a little bit in practical application. Got one for my wife’s phone, as she would use it a lot for the magnetic properties in the gym and at home, as well as the finger holds for reading and while at work. However, the adhesive element isn’t strong enough to navigate the repeated on/off of using the magnetic feature of the add-on. Especially as it relates to its claim of being magbak safe. Yes it charges through, but the whole unit disconnects from her phone and remains on whatever surface it was connected to. Kinda defeats the point of having it, if she’s always fishing it off of whatever she sticks to. Therefore, she’s only used it a few times since getting it The tech and slim style are great! Just wish it was more user friendly with the magnetic/adhesive elements.
