I had two Snap 4s and loved them both. Recently, I broke my last one and decided to upgrade to the 5. However, I’ve noticed a significant difference in the phone’s stability. When I used the 4 on any mount, it never budged. In fact, it took quite an effort to pry the grip from mounts. With the 5, my phone falls off of almost every mount I use. If I even hit a bump slightly, the phone slides off the mount in my car. Other cases, it just slides down slowly if it’s not properly aligned. In contrast, the 4 would make a snap sound, ensuring that the phone was securely mounted. On my trip, the phone felt unsecured and kept sliding.I’m not sure if the value of being able to remove the grip so easily outweighs the trade-off of much weaker magnets. Once this 5 breaks, I won’t be purchasing another Snap phone until these issues are addressed.
Very easy to use and love the color options. I like the fidget aspect of it as well. And when completely flat, it's very thin and looks very modern. My only small issue is I wish the reverse magnet was a bit stronger. Then again, my fold 7 is probably heavier than the average phone. All and all definitely recommend!
This product is not what it looks like in the videos you see online. It doesn’t work as nicely as presented and the materials and construction are garbage. Do yourself a savor and don’t but it.
Great design, but something is wrong with this one. The lattice fold is folding outward in a couple of the sections. The folding sections catch on the opposite folding section causing it to fold wrong.
The Snap grip 5 work on the Mouse Aramid Fibre phone case for the Samsung S25 Ultra but charging with it attached in combination with the Snap charger was intermittent at best.
