Great grip, lasted less than a month

I bought this grip shortly after the holidays and it worked great for the first couple weeks. I did notice that sometimes the grip springs bent the wrong way and I would have to physically push them into the correct position to get it to close. Then recently, it won’t close fully at all. So it is absolutely useless. I would not recommend this grip. I believe it appears to be perfect, slim, exactly what I wanted, but it lasted less than a month.

Plastic deforms. Not worth it.

I've been buying ohsnap since Gen 1 and Snap Grip 5 is my favorite minus the soft touch. It's peeling off and looks like the Gen 4...

I’ve purchased models 3, 4, and now 5. I recently purchased the grip 5 and MagSafe case kit for my iPhone 17 pro max and I’m honestly a bit disappointed in the decision to remove the adhesive from the grip. I’ve dropped my phone twice due to the magnets not holding onto the case, this never happened with the adhesive. I also feel the magnets aren’t as strong in the new grip. I also own the car mount and never had problems with my phone falling off of it. With this new grip 5 it falls off consistently. The previous version would snap onto the car mount strongly, it would pull my hand into the magnet while attaching. This new version almost fights me to place it on and doesn’t feel secure. I have to mess with it to attach properly. The grips functions are amazing as they always have been but the magnetic strength and ability was a huge step back this time. I didn’t feel like reviewing this because I have lived their products for a while now but this was just not up to the level of excellence their previous products have been.

My ohsnap snap grip 4 broke, so per the one year warranty, I was offered this product as a replacement. I really like it as a Phone grip and stand, I’m just hoping it holds up better than the previous model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its 1/3 as thick as a pop socket, AND you can still use all your magnetic add ons. Built very well!

The design of this item looks great but is actually hard to use. Trying to get your finger in to hold phone is difficult and I have never been able to successfully use the stand. Also does not work on most of my magnetic chargers.
