Looks great but function isn't much better than the snap 4. 4

The magnet isn't as strong on the snap 5. The snap 4 had a stronger magnet. No wireless charging through the snap ring...The snap 5 still doesn't want to stay closed after I've had my fingers behind the ring. I'm sad to say because I like the idea, but oh snap is a swing and a big miss for me.
I put a MagSafe pop-socket on my phone years ago and never looked back. When it broke recently, I bought the Oh Snap after seeing a million ads on Instagram. It broke within two weeks of getting it... came unglued and was unusable. Luckily, the company made it right and replaced it. Four stars because it broke, but other than that I like it. Can’t go back to pop-socket now... it feels to thick between my fingers. I just wish the magnetic closure was a little stronger... it doesn’t always close all the way.
Was looking for a way to mount my phone in my new truck. This had the grip of a p*p s*cket but not the bulk. The mag safe sticking power is great, and even charges my Android phone. Very happy so far.
I have the Snap Grip 4 (adhesive version) and loved it. Had it on a case for about a year with no issues at all. Bought a second one to put on a different case. Again, no issues. I upgraded my charging stand that allowed “through charging” since the MagSafe would now be attached through this grip as opposed to directly to the case. With the version 4, no issues. When the Snap Grip 5 came out with all magnets, I jumped on it with the thought of ease of changing to different cases. I noticed with the 5, the magnetic strength was extremely lacking compared to the 4. After comparing the 4 and 5 on multiple cases with MagSafe compatibility, I noticed the magnets in the version 5 are affecting the “stick” to the charging station. The magnets in the grip are almost fighting against the magnet in the charging station. So much so that my phone has fallen off the charging stand twice now and cracked my screen protector. Still a great product, but I unfortunately wasted money on the version 5 as I have to hunt for the proper location to put my phone on the charger as opposed to the version 4 that almost sucked the phone out of my hand to make it to the charger. Just something to consider, you might be better off with Grip 4 as opposed to this newer Grip 5.
This has the potential to be great, however after use for a while, the magnet does not always pop back into place which can be frustrating. For how expensive it is, would not expect this issue.
Never had one of these before, so it took a little getting used to, I do like how thin it is, overall not bad. But after a few times taking it off my phone, a piece of it broke off and I can’t help but wonder when the rest of it is going to break.
I so love this snap grip 5, however the back of the snap grip is not strong enough to last it's very thin. This is my second one I've tried and had to return both. The flatness is great because you can place it in yourpocket and purse smoothly. Other then it's not lasting long enough sucks. If they up grade and make the back part stronger enough to grip and not break so easily this would a great product.
