Failure

One of two grips ordered failed within the first week. The center section fell away from the outer ring. I really do like how thin these grips are, but the early failure is bad. Also, I was interested in the possibility of charging with the grip in place. However, I did not like how hot the grip was while charging, so this is something I will not make a habit of doing. Kickstand mode works okay, but my older ring style holder does a better job of this. One finger mode is difficult for me. Maybe someone with thinner fingers would have better luck.

Need Adhesive Back...

The new grip design is a major downgrade. The magnetic hold is simply not strong enough, and my phone constantly falls off. I’m using a very thin case, and it still does not stay attached properly, which makes the product unreliable and frustrating to use.The previous adhesive version worked far better and felt much more secure. Removing that option was a mistake. Not everyone wants a magnetic grip that can easily detach.Please bring back the adhesive version or at least make it an option again. Until that happens, I will not be purchasing any more grips, and I can’t recommend this product in its current design.

Crap!

Broke within 24 hours. I’ve been a popsocket lover for years but I got pulled in by all the reels. It’s an amazing idea... but the round part that pops up is already coming undone from the telescoping springs. Making it not open and close smoothly or flat... for the price it should not break so easily.

Bought it Five years ago. Never ONCE regretted the purchase. Absolutely love. It’s beginning to die, planning on getting the new one.

Great grip but...

I’m on my 4th oh snap grip. I love the device itself but eventually it loses the ability to snap back in place. Which can be very annoying when trying to place it in your pocket or placing it on a charger. I have to remove the grip itself if I want my phone to lay flat. I would give this 5 stars if I didn’t constantly run into this issue.

Poor magnetic adhesion

Being a loyal customer for several years, I thought I would upgrade to the SG 5.0 magnetic version. To my surprise I was very disappointed with the performance thus far. I ordered two and one remains in the package and will not be used. The other one replaced the adhesive version which worked great once the clip was improved. The newest version fails to stay magnetically attached to phone mounts and continuously becomes dislodged. So many times now that it can no longer be mounted while driving, which all but defeats the purpose of it. Again, never had that issue with the adhesive SG 4.0.

Ultra thin, strong magnets, wireless charging compatibility , 1 or 2 finger grip hold.If the price was a little bit lower i will be advertising that grip to everyone i know, but with the quality and the features it has i understand the higher price tag that it has.Product 10/10
