Terrible magnetic strength

As an early adopter of OhSnap, I am very disappointed with the direction OhSnap is heading. Great additions were made with closing of pop socket being magnetic vs snapped in, but the weakening of the magnet that allows device to be attached to other items was a significant disappointment. Now instead of being able to attach MagSafe with ease I am now forced to make sure it’s perfectly centered and even then the connection is weak. There was nothing wrong with the original design, minor adjustments to any product is good but this was a major change that was unnecessary. Feels like I have a cheaper product. Not trying to be overly critical because I loved my original OhSnap pop socket but this version with cheap magnets is not it. Will not purchase again unless quality and strength of the magnet is restored.
Fit and finish is pretty nice but the plastic hinges do not seem very durable. The magnetism is not what I had hoped for either. On vertical smooth surfaces like a filing cabinet it will slide down under the weight of the phone and otterbox case.
This is the third version of this grip I've purchased over the years. Perfect grip for my S26 Ultra. It's super thin and it eliminates the wobble from the rear cameras when you lay the phone down.
I wish I still had the option of adhesive, especially for using with a phone case. The previous generations were AMAZING and I told all my friends about it and how much this new grip has changed my life. But the new generation (without the adhesive) falls off my phone all the time and has me searching for something new. Every time I drop my phone (which, sadly, is a lot), I have to search for my grip because it disconnects. The other day I lost my grip on the bathroom wall - magneted my phone to the wall as usual, grabbed my phone when I was finished, and later realized that it got disconnected when I grabbed it. The grip stayed in the bathroom. It also falls off my car mount ALL THE TIME. While the thought of simply removing the grip when you want is nice, I don't really want to remove the grip and find a place for it every time I'm in the car or every time I want to do something. The old version worked great for me - Gen 5 is meh. I'm sad by this development because I can't get the cool colors in earlier generations (and maybe can't get the earlier generations at all). But this new version simply doesn't work for my lifestyle anymore.
No complaints whatsoever. It’s comfortable, has a powerful magnetic, and works exactly as designed and described. I did buy the boring black, I wish I had bought the red.
I’ve had one before and it lasted for a few years but I changed my case and couldn’t get it off so i had to get a new one and it already broke after 4 months of regular use
Flimsy, Does NOT allow wireless charging as advertised!!

I just bought 2 of these to replace my pop socket magnet. I really like the design idea, but in practice I’m worried the thing is going to snap. Expected more metal, the housing is all thin plastic and the mechanism is flimsy. I was most excited about leaving the thing on my phone to charge on my wireless chargers and it doesn’t work on any of them. Very disappointed.
