I've had the oh snap grip for about 2 years now. Got a new phone case and saw they have a new updated model with no adhesive. Which made me real excited. However, the newest Generation magnets are nowhere close to as strong as the previous generation. Use to be able to place my phone (Galaxy Fold 6) on anything metal with confidence. The squat racks, fridge, ect..but this new one I'm not even confident on putting it on a simple magnetic stand. I barely touch it and it falls. Where as the previous generation, my phone would still be on the stands, even if the stand got knocked over. Again, love this company and am sure they can figure it out but not a fan of the new gen.

Flimsy , bent within 2 days , now won't close

I wanted something slimmer than my magnetic popsocket. I often slip my phone into my jeans pocket. Did some research, watched some videos online, decided to go with the oh snap version 5. It is very slim and low profile and the magnet is decently strong. But within two days of normal use, talking on the phone, taking some photos that kind of thing the two edge pieces that fold into themselves bent and refuse to go back to where they're supposed to be. If I mess around with it for a bit and pull that out to the side I can get it to close flat like it's supposed to but as soon as it's opened it's bent again. One of the main reasons I wanted this was because of the feature where you can put it against something magnetic like your tool chest or whatever to hold your phone. But unless it's folded flat that feature does not work. It takes too long to mess with it to get it like that so I don't even bother trying. Super disappointed and I can't believe this gets the reviews it does because there's a lot of people having the same issue if you do some searches online. I like how slim it is and I like the color , I got the honey gold, but I'm super disappointed that it doesn't work as it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great grip

I have gone through 3 pop sockets because they all tear on me. This grip is made sturdier and feels great. Wish I would have known about it sooner. Not to mention I can charge my phone with this one attached still.

Well made. Suitable for slim finger. Being a man, couldn’t use the 2 finger option other than that it’s perfect grip. The image charger works mostly with this attached however, sometimes I had to wiggle a bit to set it perfectly. The overall quality and finish is excellent.
