Excellent combo of price, quality, and dimensions

Kept the box 'cuz I wasn't sure I would keep it. It's still sitting behind me bookshelf. I'm pleased to say I will be keeping the box, not because I intend to send it back but in case I need to tap into the warranty. This was the PERFECT blend of the exact amount of screen real estate, price point, and quality that I wanted. Buying electronics online can be tricky but I am an LG fan now. If you're looking for a screen that gives you the most productivity bang for your buck (and saves you some bucks) I HIGHLY recommend.

Great Monitor but height adjust on stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor is great and has everything I expected out of a 29 inch WFHD monitor. Especially thequality of the IPS panel is great. The only con is the stand that stands at a low height and doesnt allow portrait placement or raising height also the range of tilt is limited. Apart from that the inbuilt speaker gets loud.

Good screen, okay design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen itself is generally pretty good. The sync frequency can cause issues until it's adjusted to match the graphics card you have. The base design leaves much to be desired. The balance of the monitor is heavily skewed forward: it falls over super easily and any amount of pressure damages the screen irreparably (which isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty).

Excellent Monitor.
on July 16, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor represents an excellent 21:9 display option suitable for both home and office environments. With a resolution of 2560x1080, it offers a visually appealing experience, delivering a beautiful picture despite not reaching the 1440p mark. Additionally, its IPS panel ensures an impressive 99% color accuracy, further enhancing the overall visual quality.
The HDR capabilities of this monitor are truly remarkable, adding an extra layer of depth and vibrancy to the display. However, when it comes to gaming, it is important to note that its performance is merely satisfactory. With a refresh rate of 100Hz and 5ms response times, I wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming enthusiasts who require optimal responsiveness.
That being said, if you lean more towards casual gaming or enjoy indie and single-player games like myself, this monitor proves to be an excellent choice. It excels in providing an immersive experience tailored to these gaming genres.
If I were to make one alteration, it would be to increase the refresh rate to 120Hz and lower the response time to 1ms. This enhancement would further enhance the monitor's gaming capabilities. Nevertheless, despite this minor drawback, it remains a great monitor that I wholeheartedly recommend to others.

A 21:6 monitor which did bot fill the bill

The husband bought this monitor to compliment a new CPU purchase for the wife. It was very nice in color and clarity; yet the narrowness of the design caused desired data to not be as easily visible as 16:9 monitors. This monitor is more 21:6 in ratio. Had it been 16:9, it would not have been returned.

My First Widescreen Monitor!
on September 12, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not only my first LG monitor but also the largest monitor I have owned as well as my first, widescreen. I absolutely cannot believe that I can do what was taking me two separate monitors on just this one monitor. This was the main point, or desire, in my wanting to own a widescreen monitor was to be able to condense and not have to use multiple monitors. So this also means using less electricity as well. I did not know until after the fact that it has built-in speakers. The sound quality is excellent and does not distort at higher volumes. I was using a wireless Bluetooth speaker but I have switched over to using LG's internal speaker on this monitor which also uses this technology called Waves MaxxAudio. The clarity for someone with less than 20/20 vision is impeccable. There are many settings options such as Custom, Cinema, Vivid, HDR Effect, FPS, RTS, and a reader mode (that has that sort of tablet sepia color to it). I will generally use the Custom feature. I like the Super Resolution+ and Black Level settings as it makes the text stand out better. Under Settings, Picture, Color Adjust, there is a Gamma feature with four separate modes. Choosing Mode 3 enhances text clarity even further and is what I am currently using. Other features include the ability to tilt the monitor forward and back. It does not have an option to raise the height of the monitor and if I had to list any cons that are literally the only one I can think of. On the rear of the monitor where the ports are there is a USB-C port which could be used to charge any devices that use a USB-C charge cable. This is definitely a monitor I would recommend for anyone to use and I mean that especially if you are working from home or for any businesses seeking to upgrade their current monitors for their employees. This is such a major space saver being able to use this one monitor and it looks so much cleaner as well.

Loving it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was out of town when my monitor was delivered and was so very anxious to get home to set it up and start using it. I didn't care for the look of the stand that cam with it, so I changed it out for something more me.
I have a home business and spend a lot of time staring at my monitor. I always have several windows open to do comparisons and wasn't happy with the limited screen space on my monitor. I am by no means a "techie", and I am loving this huge, clear, colorful monitor. Yes, for me 29" is huge!
I'm looking forward to learning all of the features and options available on this monitor. There is so much screen to work with. I have big plans for this and I'm confident that it won't disappoint. Am I pleased? Why yes... yes I am!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is an awesome upgrade. We have it in the kitchen where my wife works from home a few days a week. She's using it to extend her desktop on the work laptop she uses. We replaced a regular 1080p monitor with this one and it's as different as night and day. Not only is this monitor lighter but it has a lot of modern inputs on the back. To me this is light as a feather. She can now have more open windows visible at the same time but those windows are larger. A lot less eye strain trying to real tiny figures jammed into a smaller screen and she doesn't have to keep alternating expanding different windows to see/move figures between them. Easier to see and more to see at once, I would call that a definite win in both comfort and productivity. The stand was also well thought out. Not only is it heavy enough to keep the monitor from tipping over if accidentally jostled, but it is wide enough that it doesn't interfere with the desk space directly in front & underneath the monitor. I did bowwow it one weekend to try it out and found that the colors looked great and there was no problem watching an HD video while also having another window open to browse the web or check my emails. Very much worth it to take advantage of a modern sized monitor.
