Touch screen isn’t very sensitive have to touch multiple times sometimes hard to get it to take .. apps load slower than I would expect., battery life is about 3 hrs only and is hot !!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ordered a iPad mini refurbished excellent condition for my little brothers Christmas gift. It arrived with a brand new looking screen but the sound was horrible and barely could hear it on full sound. The battery was on 100% then dropped down to 40% within 20 minutes or so. I sent the iPad back shipping on me and they received it on January 24 and told me it will only take 2-5 business days for the reimbursement and they are only now telling me they will notify their returns department about my order. shouldn’t that haven been done once they received it ?!!! Not a good seller!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
