This monitor is easily to pair with a MacBook Pro (via USB C to USB C cable), but for a pairing with a windows laptop you'll need a special cable: USB C + USB 3 to USB C plus another USB C power source. After you set-up this, you can start using it and you will be delighted by the image quality. It is easy to transport.

I am very satisfied of the portable monitor which is not an attachment to the screen, but a separate screen which can be placed anywhere around the laptop. My unit has an awful high pitch squeal sometimes though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a second screen for work and this fit the bill especially as I use a Lenovo laptop already; hook-up was effortless with the single cable and it performed beautifully. Love that it can be used from either side (wish my laptop had a usb-c output on the right side though!), it's super light and manageable. Was even more surprised when I hooked it up to my DeX-enabled phone with a bluetooth keyboard/touchpad and external power source, it functioned amazingly in that capacity as well. HIGHLY recommended!
