Perfect router for our needs. Easy to connect to our network and set up. Took about 30 minutes to setup and activate the network, including reconnecting the Ring cameras outside. Great coverage/access throughout the house (2750 sq ft) and outside.

Our 6+ year old router was maxing out at 25 gigs, when we were paying for 100. Bought one of these bad boys, and when I got it set up, the speed ramped up to nearly 100! Setup was easy, all the devices that had connected to the old router automatically connected to this one when we put in the same names and passwords, and what do you know? Everything is faster, smoother, and there's less stress in the house.
Good product at a good price. Definitely recommend.

Purchased the RT-AX1800S to setup as AiMesh node as I already had a RT-AX86U, following instruction line by line and watching youtube from Asus site I've tried over a dozen times to get it to work but it never fully links and shows Disconnected. Firmware version on both show the latest version

I’ve been an ASUS customer for several years. My first laptop, which I bought 10 years ago and still operates beautifully. I just purchased another laptop and the router for my house. I trust the ASUS brand and quality. My previous router failed with another well known manufacturer. I would only consider ASUS for my replacement since we leave the house for several months and I need to know that I can trust my internet connection.
