As a senior citizen, I look for EASY all the time. I upgraded from an older model of ASUS WiFi router to this one and wow! what a difference. I was lucky to get 80 MBPS through my Spectrum cable ISP, so I decided to get a new DOCSIS 3.1 modem (different brand) and this router. Upgraded firmware first thing, after which the router was a breeze to set up, worked perfect out of the box and has been no trouble at all ever since. I use ASUS motherboards exclusively (for over 25 years,) so I know this a reliable and robust brand. Look no further - my system is now future proofed for when fiber crawls into my town.

Used as an Access Point in additon to a new RT-AX3000. So far its great. WiFi speeds are incredibly fast! I can't believe this is priced at so low at this time. Time will tell. Oops, I can't say what I paid for mine!!!

Enjoying our new router! Impressed with the speed and how easy it was to set-up. Odd setting up Parental time controls, but seems to work well. (A bit counterintuitive.)
Have 10 devices accessing and no drop in performance. Set-up IPv6 and the router comes with the latest WiFi standards.
Great value for the price!

Initial setup was a bit more complicated than anticipated. I had to drop my vpn on my phone in order to link it to the app. Nearly got kicked out in the process of all that (changing the admin username and password and all the other initial setup). Beyond that, works well.
