[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just the base station, so if you don't already have Ring devices in your home, you might want the kit to get started with some security features. If you already have Ring cameras, doorbells, or motion sensors this serves as a good central support for all those pieces, while setting up a secure wifi network that can be backed up . Without any other devices, this is pretty much just a router/wifi booster setting up an eero network in your home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used ring for a long time now and just decided to upgrade to the alarm Pro. It's very convenient that it has he built in router which helps keep Wi-Fi going throughout your house. It can't connect to all my ring devices which I love so that way I can check in on it at any time. I find it gives me a sense of security and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a security system. It was very easy to install and put on my phone. I'm definitely going to get this as a gift for my parents and I really feel like it just gives a great sense of security.

Great Addition to Network

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alarm Pro Base Station from Ring has been an amazing upgrade for my house hold and for the security that I am trying to establish. I have the Ring doorbells, along with multiple cameras around the home. I was able to set up the base relatively easy and it only took about 45 minutes to get the placement set up, and the app and connections to the other Ring items in the house. One great thing about this is that I was able to also connect other Alexa enabled items such as plugs and lights for control. I can access this system anywhere. If you are using this to replace an existing alarm, you will be very happy. You will also be happy if this is your first time with an alarm. The peace of mind it brings is wonderful.

Great for my traveling lifestyle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring alarm pro base station is an all in one one device. I like that the base station will send me an alert if any activity is happening on the outside of my front door. It is a very cool product for anyone who cares about their personal security. I do note that this is just the base station, so you will need to purchase other ring devices if you don't already own them. The set up instructions were easy to follow and was simple to get this set up in my home. I would highly recommend it.

Increased Protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Alarm Pro seems to be a viable option for protecting my home network. I was hesitant with set up based upon other reviews but I was able to connect with no issues. I was able to pair with my RIng doorbell and back camera with no issues. Unfortunately, Ring Alarm Pro must be used as your primary router, connecting directly to your modem and replacing your existing network. Unfortunately, our internet provider requires using their hardware or they do not gaurantee internet speeds.

Excellent as a router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have this installed as a Wireless Router only and it works excellent for this use! I got the base station only because my old router was failing. The installation was as easy as it gets and the coverage throughout my house is great. I have never had any Ring devices so after installing this base station, I got a Ring wired camera. It connected easily to the base station and works fantastic, so I may have opened Pandora's box for future devices.

For something so easy to install in our home, we feel so much better that we know what is going on around our property. Different age to raise kids, this helps a lot

Works great with Eero system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Alarm Pro Base Station is essentially a beefed up Eero 6 with additional features. Since I already have a wifi mesh network of Eero 6s, the base station integrated seamlessly to my network. However, the base station has the added benefit of having a reserve battery pack and additional alarm functions.
I was able to integrate my Ring doorbell, a floodlight, and 2 additional cameras without any issues. The app is very user friendly and I can check on my cameras and control lights and alarm bells when I'm at work. The doorbell also allowed me to accept deliveries and make sure my packages are safe.
I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family.
