Found out about the X20 from a Linus Tech Tips video where they compared controllers under $200. Decided to try it, and honestly it’s been great for the price. Solid build, good features, and definitely worth it if you’re looking for value.

Love the X20 controller! The Elite 2-Way Trigger Lock is awesome — perfect for FPS and racing. Had a delivery issue, but the seller responded fast and solved it. Great product, great service.

Great controller but mislead

This is a great controller but you should buy it elsewhere. They have it "on sale" with a specific end date for the sale that urges you to buy it but the sale never actually ends they just immediately restart it. Ended up overpaying for it due to their deceptive practices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great feel, Great features, and Great price

I've been using the original EasySMX X10 as my main Switch controller for a long time, so when I got the chance to try this new version, I was pretty excited — and wow, it’s a big step up.
It honestly feels like a full upgrade, not just a small refresh. Same price, but everything’s better. The 1000Hz response rate (wired or with the dongle) is really noticeable — gameplay feels smoother and more responsive right away.
The RGB lighting is actually pretty tasteful. It’s not over-the-top, but still looks cool, especially the lights around the joysticks and those little light bars on the grips. The XYAB buttons have this kind of infinity mirror effect, which looks awesome. I kinda wish you could switch between Xbox and Switch layouts using the lights — that would’ve been sick — but that’s probably asking too much.
There are also two extra face buttons and two extra macro buttons, which is nice. And there's a switch to change the triggers from hall effect to mechanical, which I’ve never seen before on a controller at this price.
Only real complaint? The minus/back button on the top left is kinda awkward to reach. You sort of have to move your thumb over the stick to press it, which isn’t ideal. Would’ve made more sense to place it beside the other left-side button. Not a huge deal, just a minor design flaw.
The feel of the controller is awesome. It’s grippy but not in a rough way — kind of a soft texture that still keeps it from slipping. Honestly feels better than most of my other controllers, even the more expensive ones.
All the buttons are mechanical and feel solid. The macros are way easier to set up now too. You do need to manually install a driver to unlock everything, which was a bit of a pain. Hopefully future versions come updated out of the box.
What really surprised me was the little things — like the tiny light by the USB-C port so you can plug it in easier in the dark. Never seen that on any other controller. Shows they actually cared about user experience.
All in all, this thing is awesome. Great feel, great features, and way cheaper than most “pro” controllers. Minor flaws aside, I’d definitely recommend it. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it.

An Excellent Upgrade from the X10

"I own the EasySMX X10 and, given how much I love it, I thought I'd give the 'successor' a try.
I've now spent a few days testing the EasySMX X20 and I can give it another 5 stars.
I absolutely love the illuminated A-X buttons! On the X10, the letters were barely legible after just a year. An engraving would have been a better choice than a ""print"" that unfortunately wears off with frequent use.
The height-adjustable sticks, which are magnetically held in place and work great, and the triggers, which can be used as switches if desired, are simply fantastic!

Minor drawbacks: The ergonomics suffer a bit from the button arrangement: Back, Square, C, and Start are subjectively unfavorable for me. Especially the Back button. For me, it would be better placed next to the ""Home"" button, and the Start button as well.
The lighting: A nice gimmick, but I don't like that it can't be set to permanent, but always pulsates, no matter what color you choose. That's why I've deactivated it. Also because I hope to save power and get by without recharging for longer.
The workmanship is quite good. Only on the right side of the grip, I have a slight overhang of plastic, which slightly detracts from the very good overall condition.
Nevertheless, I'm happy to give it 5 stars again and if a hybrid controller ever comes out of X10 (workmanship, faceplates) and X20 (button illumination, height-adjustable sticks, 4 macro buttons, microswitches, adjustable triggers), I will very likely buy it again!
