The otter boxes are definitely not what they used to be. I cracked my phone within the first week just dropping it and the plastic part that goes around it. definitely never buying an OtterBox again

Case too thick for Magnet hand holders on the back

Hello M and JP! We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. The Defender and Defender Pro Series case are compatible with wireless charging, but do not contain magnets in the case. Therefore, they will not adhere or "snap" to MagSafe charging stands and accessories. Should one be looking for a case with the rugged protection of the Defender, but also with MagSafe (magnets in the case) the Defender XT is an excellent option to consider! Defender needs an upgrade - waterproof case.

The Defender is a terrible design. It should be waterproof as well. And of course the holster won't fit on a waterproof case. Very poor choice by someone. the cases that offered waterproof and a holster were the best cases ever for truck drivers. So I had to order a FRE waterproof is more important. Adding waterproof would actually make it a true Defender.
