Sturdy refrigerator that works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up buying a new fridge in a rush because my old one was dying right before Thanksgiving. The new whirlpool fridge doesn't have any bells or whistles, but it is a good basic refrigerator that is working and keeping things cold which is good. However, getting the temperature to regulate as well as my old one is a bit of a challenge. I find that things in the fridge compartment tend to freeze while things in the freezer tend to take longer to freeze than they did in my old fridge. I also lost space and things like the deli drawer and one door shelf, because I had to downsize a little because most of the new fridges tend to be considerably larger than the space I have for the fridge.
Having said all that, the new whirlpool fridge is a sturdy unit that, with a little creative thought and some added organizers, is working well. It is quiet, and the shelves are good and solid. It would be nice if the temperature regulation was easier to figure out and control but having a fridge that keeps things cold is good. On the whole I am happy with the new fridge, and it is nice not to have to worry about the old fridge dying and taking a lot of food with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I trust the Whirlpool name I have had Whirlpool products before and they have been remarkably reliable with their performance I love my new refrigerator and I will continue to purchase the Whirlpool brand in the future

Bigger is not necessarily better
