Life aint good long term

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator in November 2015. It was large and spacious and cooled well for as long as it lasted, which was a short while. While running well, it used to make these occasional loud noises for about 10 seconds and stop,was otherwise very quiet. By September 2018, which is 2 years and 10 months, the refrigerator stopped cooling, a lot of food was spoilt. It sounded like its running, but it was not cooling. The linear compressor needed replacement. It replaced a refrigerator that was running well for 30 years. What a mistake!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beats all my expectations. So much more room than my 15 year old refrigerator. I love the way it's setup and it has so much room to spare. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased November 2015. One month later the refrigerator had failed (though the freezer still worked). The evaporator motor and thermostat were replaced with updated versions. The repairman said this was a manufacturing defect for this model. We had to keep putting ice in the refrigerator until the parts arrived a week later. After the repair I have heard loud sounds on occasion, the latest a loud and long (more than a minute) grinding sound. I may have to get an extended warranty because I doubt the quality of this refrigerator. Also it is not easy to keep clean the stainless steel doors.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best No-Water/Ice Front Refrigerator We Could Find

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very large, well distributed refrigerator. Shelving is very flexible and quick-drop shelf is great for adding tall items. Lots of door storage (thanks to not having to fit an ice maker in the door). The fridge is also very brightly lit.
The freezer is easy to open and is pretty spacious, but may not be enough for a family that fills the fridge. We happen to have a chest freezer also, so it's plenty for us to have freezer items handy. For me, the size of the fridge was more important than the freezer.
