Good basic refrigerator

This was about the only model we could find without a water/ice set up in the door. It's a good, basic refrigerator without many bells and whistles. It does the job and looks okay doing it.

Keeps the food cold!

It's really simple: If you put food in the top part, it keeps it cold. If you want the food even colder, you can put it in the bottom part!

Some Good Some Bad

Too short. Left lots of unused space under overhead cabinet. Would be better if taller and narrower. Bottom Freezer space is seriously compromised by icemaker. Not enough freezer space. Frig interior good - easy to access. Cools well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recently remodeled our home and purchased a similar GE regrigerate a year ago. The compressor gave out and the refrigerator was beyond repair. GE acted quickly to replace the older model with a newer one. So far, we are thrilled with the unit...it's been just a few days. But we are even more impressed with GE's customer service and installers.
