The refrigerator is exactly what I expected it to be. I have owned GE
appliances before and have been totally satisfied. However, the on/off
control for the ice maker is inconvenient. One must remove the ice holding
bin to operate it.

Great for the price?

We have had this fridge for a month and love it! We got this fridge for a few hundred dollars less than the smooth finish fridge with the EXACT SAME features... Which was awesome because we wanted just a few things in our fridge freezer combo: a water filter- in fudge water- in fridge ice! So far we are happy as can be!!

Big fridge happy family

Installed last week and its exactly what I was hoping for. Lots of room in both fridge and freezer. Freezer makes lots of Ice, and theres lots of drawers in the fridge for fruit and lunch meat.

A great refrigerator with all the right spaces for all my needs. A lot of space in the doors and the small drawer for my cheese I was looking for. I live in Wisconsin so the cheese drawer was a must. Not all refrigerators come with that drawer anymore!

This was the only Refrigerator with the black, rough finish that we could locate for kitchen matching with other appliances. But the cold water is about 60 degrees, not cold

Lots of room

Just got it yesterday. It replaced a top freezer model that was 19 years old. Was cold in less than 24 hours. The water from the filter is much better than the water we get from our faucet filter. Love the controls on the outside. So far, so good.
