Battery life is laughable. A full charge at 7 AM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life is laughable.
A full charge at 7 AM drops to 15% by early afternoon with light use: email, Slack, browsing, no gaming. I’ve disabled 5G, killed background apps, turned off always-on display, capped refresh rate at 60 Hz—nothing works. It drains faster than my three-year-old S21 Ultra on its last legs. Even overnight idle drains 12-15%. Embarrassing for a 5,000 mAh battery and “ultra-efficient” Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Freezing is constant.
Multiple times daily the phone locks up for 10-30 seconds. Open the camera? Freeze. Switch apps? Freeze. Type a message? Freeze. Everything I tried to do during the hang suddenly floods in at once. I’ve factory reset twice, cleared cache partition, booted in safe mode—same garbage every time.
The S Pen is useless.
Tap one spot, it registers two inches away. Drawing straight lines is impossible; the cursor jumps like it’s drunk. Air gestures fail half the time. My 2019 Note 10+ had a far more accurate pen. Samsung clearly broke something here.
Touch response is broken.
I have to jab the screen 4-5 times for a single tap to register. Scrolling stutters, swiping lags, typing is infuriating—letters either don’t appear or double-type. I removed the screen protector, cleaned the display, recalibrated touch sensitivity—zero improvement. It’s not my fingers; every other phone in the house works fine.
Performance is slower than last-gen.
Apps take forever to open, multitasking hiccups, even the home animation stutters. This thing has 16 GB o

Mad machine in hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a computer science graduate student, my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has become indispensable for managing my coursework and projects. The integration of Galaxy AI helps me transcribe lecture recordings, summarize complex research papers, and even draft code snippets using voice input, which saves a lot of time. I use my phone daily for streaming online classes, collaborating with classmates on group assignments via Samsung Notes, and optimizing study sessions with smart reminders from Galaxy AI. The AI-powered camera makes it effortless to scan printed class handouts and whiteboard notes, converting them to digital format instantly.Overall, Galaxy AI enhances productivity and organization, making my study routine more efficient and enjoyable. Whether I'm prepping for exams or collaborating on programming assignments, the S25 Ultra powered by Galaxy AI is my ultimate academic companion.

I love this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone! My s25 ultra takes better pictures than my 23 dead. I have the best picture of the harvest Moon I was so surprised at it took a picture like that. The Galaxy AI is so much better and being a nurse, I use my phone a lot to look medical things up. And the AI has been pretty right on! I like that it provides links to its references. I'm really happy with the phone. It's good at blocking things out that I don't want the apps for the most part work right unless you know they have their own glitches. I have a Samsung watch (which I need to get a new one), I have a Samsung curved TV I have a Samsung monitor downstairs, Galaxy earbuds pro 3 & pro 2, so I'm pretty much a Samsung girl. I also have a Samsung Chromebook. SO, love it, love it, love it! If you want to know more about it I could go on...I'm so glad that I have this upgrade from the 23 Ultra, I've pretty much for the last 15 years. compared to another brand of phone, who I shall not name, that operates its own system. My S25 Ultra an excellent adjunct to my life.

Forced auto updates suck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You geniuses need to figure out a way to give options on the updates I don't like my icons being changed all the time with an update. I'm about ready to go to a stupid phone.

The greatest phone to date
on November 8, 2025
Posted by: Anonymous
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has changed my life. My everyday life. I use my phone for everything. The Ai use has changed my everyday life as well. I use the Galaxy Ai for texting and using my phone while driving and at work. I take pictures of food ingredients and it will tell me what meals I can prepare with them. This entire phone is very user friendly and smarter than I initially assumed. The quality of the cameras, both front and back are the best cameras I have ever used. The zoom is flat out amazing. The 45w charging is awesome, only taking about 30 minutes to completely charge my phone in well under an hour. (Like 35 min) The video quality of movies and YouTube are astounding and the in-house speakers are so good. There is actual bass you can hear clearly. I haven't even scratched the surface of all I can do and still have more exploring. One last thing, the alarm sounds are plenty, but the quality of the alarm sounds are the absolute best ever. Anywhere from poppy upbeat tunes to violin tunes to softer more subtle alarm tunes that I love to use, there is an itch to scratch for everyone. Love the integration with Google Ai services as well. I cannot wait for the new s26 ultra to be released so as to upgrade. I am now a samsung lifer! I can't go back. To the watch, the ring, the headphones, the TV, the phone, I need and want everything samsung.

REALLY NICE
on November 8, 2025
Posted by: Djsaintpatrick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is really sleek, nice screen, great camera. It is a perfect upgrade from my s21 ultra which still worked, but was getting a bit too old. I haven't messed too much with the Galaxy AI but it seems like it's helpful and after messing with some settings, isn't too intrusive. Love this phone.

When you're at the top, there's only one way to go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it is a bit of a dissappointment from previous versions.
• The physical dimensions have diminished from sexy to boxy. It is very thick, heavy, and uninspiring.
• The AI feels bolted on over integrated, however, the photo editing AI is World - Class. Simply amazing.
• After many iterations taking photos, given the upgraded hardware, the quality of the resulting images appear no better than my S23 Ultra. Depth and focus are dissappointing.
• The screen brightness is superb and the resolution equally impressive. This is my first iteration of the Ultra with a flat screen and I miss the Edge style immensely.
• One UI8 is a tremendous let-down -- eliminating so many features and capabilities of prior versions like window transparency, window pinning, and the original DEX.
It seems as though Samsung set out to check as many boxes as possible forgetting the artistic astetic they originally created generations ago.
