This wasn't much of an upgrade for me coming from an S23U. The display was less vibrant and consequently, camera pictures appeared less vivid than on my S23U as well. This phone was brand new and the battery would barely last a full day of average use. Certain apps like Snapchat kept crashing / screen kept going blank while in use. At this pricepoint, I think these issues are unacceptable and definitely a bit worrisome. I've gone back to my s23u and the experience is the same as the s24u minus the issues I mentioned.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Hilarie. The Galaxy S24 Ultra shows significant advancements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with improvements in both hardware and software. It features a durable titanium frame that adds to its premium feel. A standout enhancement is the Quad Tele camera system, which allows for clearer, higher-resolution zoomed-in photographs. The 50MP camera includes a 5x optical zoom capability, enabling users to capture vibrant images even in low-light conditions, thanks to the Nightography feature. Additionally, the new ProVisual engine elevates the photography experience with high resolution, Super HDR, AI Zoom, Nightography, and Generative Edit functionalities. Regarding the crashing of your apps, we recommend checking for updates. Software updates are like oil changes and tune-ups for your phone or tablet. They help keep everything running smoothly. Additionally, they improve the user interface, enhance security, and fix minor bugs. Keeping your phone up to date with the latest software is a great way to enhance your battery life! Check out the links attached for options to help optimize your phone's battery life. Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. Upgraded from Galaxy S21 Ultra. I am not happy with the speaker sound. Notification sounds, call sounds etc are crackling and have too much treble as if equilizer is boosting high frequencies. It also has a somewhat crackling sound. Hard to explain but it sounds like a very very cheap phone. The camera is also underwhelming. I remember when I got a new Samsung, I would be always impressed with the photo quality. For the first time in my life this is not the case. Tried 10x zoom and the view is not perfectly clear, somewhat blurry. Took a picture at low light, AI corrections are very noticible. Took pictures of someone under low light, she appears as a ghost in all of them. S21 Ultra always did the job, I never had to think about the conditions etc. I didn't like AI appearing everywhere, you call someone you see an AI prompt, you open gallery there is an AI prompt, you try to write a note again there is one, you open Internet, again AI. When you restart phone, the first unlocking experience is very bad. It has been like this forever. It was the same in S21 Ultra also. Wait at the lock screen as long as you want, it doesn't matter. As soon as you unlock after a restart you get a sluggish slow home page, UI elements loading etc. I can't believe Samsung is still ok with that experience. Battery performance was also underwhelming. I remember getting my hands on S21 Ultra and after a day there was still like half of the battery left. With this phone when the day is over I get 15% or 20% remaining.

I'm not happy with this phone at all. The settings are working properly even when I change them. The phone is way to large. It's not ment for people with smaller hands. I hate the square designs. They need to make them smaller an if people want a larger phone go buy a larger one. This is annoying.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is designed to deliver a premium experience, featuring a large display and advanced capabilities. Its new ProVisual engine enhances the overall photography experience with high resolution, Super HDR, AI Zoom, Nightography, and Generative Edit. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's display offers better visibility compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, boasting a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and the newly applied Corning® Gorilla® Armor glass. For those looking for a more compact design, we recommend considering the Galaxy S24, which provides similar performance in a smaller form factor.
