The pot is really a good buy. It is made of cast iron that can go from stove top to oven. The pot is very well made but also very heavy. I love the color. I have cooked in it and it as did great.

I tried to contact you by reply email but it would not go through. I used the Dutch Oven for the first time a week ago to roast a 4# beef roast and when it was done it was stained on the bottom and i don't believe that I will use it again. I do not know where it was manufactured and what substance was used in the construction and fear to feed my family with anything cooked in it again.
